pirate_sephiroth do you still have your WIP from the attempted select glitch pacifist run? If so, could you share it, so I can see what you managed to do?

Setting the re-record count to 100000 is pretty silly yes. Something I do NOT find stupid is the run. I vote yes for several reasons. Mostly because I like the run.

Dear Fabian, Frozen prinsesstårta, acceptable or not? And do you have any expectations on my next Metroid2-run? Also if it is not too personal, how did you vote in the latest election? Yours truly, Kardborre

All I can say is DOH. Very nice work, especially the levels which ended by the death of 2 blocks at the same time. I vote yes.

Dear Fabian. What do you think of Donut Plains 2? And is it true that you don't visit Burger King? And should I let you know when I am at Surbrunnsgatan tomorrow, or before I arrive at the earlier named street? Yours truly, Cardboard.

This dude brings Tony Hawk to shame! But seriously, really goofy game, and I like really goofy games. Yes vote. Also good going at knocking out the skating diver (How often can you use that sentence?), or if it is a diving skater.

The game was slow without the speed shoes, but the graphics were amusing enough to keep me entertained. Yes-vote.

Okay then, update e-mailed. It came out a few frames faster as well. Yay. Well this better work, I'll leave for town now, but if it doesn't work, then I guess I'll have to give it another try when I get back home. EDIT: Yayzor, it works :D Thank you very much. I'll update the submission text when I get home then (To get the frame numbers correct etc).

Bleh, it desynced for me at the very end. I will try to fix this and update it a.s.a.p, or should I cancel this and re-submit?

When it comes to classic Konami-games, it's an easy pick: Castlevania. The music and the crazy feeling is awesome.

This annoys me a lot. This is the same frame, the right picture is after making a save state, or Alt-tabbing out of the program, whatever. Also the next frame will "freeze" since it is already drawn (If I've made a state save), which is quite not what I like. Good ol' VBA20. Also it only happens while recording. Can this be avoided, please?

WIP2, randomly placed halfway through level 2. Now 72 frames faster than the recently published full-run was up until this point, so 6 frames gained in this level this far, 3 due to changed strategies when getting the second gem-chest (By opening it later, Kuros held higher speed for a longer time. Kinda) and 3 frames after getting the Potion Of Levitation due to the faster-falling trick which was not used in this level in the previous run. Edit: This game sucks so much that I am surprised that the Angry Video Game Nerd has not yet attacked it. Well the reason for my rage is the fact that I just discovered a 31 frame window between "entering door after killing boss" and "key countdown". This sucks on so many levels, and even though I entered the door after the boss in level 2 76 frames faster, I leave the level itself only 62 or 64 or whatever frames faster. Boooo. As for level 1, 18 frames would have to be gained for the frame window to change to my advantage, and I doubt that a bit right now. I do not know if this applies for the entire _level_ or just the boss fight that depends on this, but anyway... bleh. Right now, I need to gain 18-isch frames on the fight (or perhaps the entire level, iono at the moment) to actually gain frames on this level. Oh well. I will be back with more news later on. Edit XIV (No, not really): I made a slitght route change and beat the frame rule. Yay for me, so 95 ahead of the old full run at this point etc. Two more levels before the level breaking. Yay. WIPs for president! Edit again: New WIP. 192 frames ahead of the published full run at this point, so almost 100 frames gained in the level alone, due to new potion-use and a new way of abusing the wall glitch. The boss fight is also faster (13 something frames), despite having more HP. Nice frame window this time. Edit no. 1986: WIP of level 4. Like some might know, I suspected that level 4 could gain quite a nice amount of frames, and so it did, I went from 192 frames ahead to 511. You do the math. Most of the gain come from more abuse of Potions, probably. Also, the skipped gem in the last bonus room would have been pretty useless to pick up due to the not so popular double gem glitch. I had some bad luck with the enemies overall in this level, probably due to the improvements in the level. This is also the last level where I can compare to my old full run, just so you know. No more "xx frames ahead of the old run which I am not intending to obsolete just yet".

This was some confusing shit. I wonder how one is supposed to be able to control at that high speed on console. I vote yes.

If the player presses away from the door on the last possible frame before entering a black room transition, I guess that it never counts as she leaves the first room, and game over. I managed to do this in real time last night as well, so it doesn't demand too much of the player.

Alright I said that I would make some noise when I decided to start the re-use levels run, and here goes. WIP1, entering the tree in level 1. 66 frames faster than the published full run up until this point. I'll try to redo some more stuff and see if I can get it any faster, if not, then I'll continue with the stage. Questions/comments/suggestions?

Who the hell taught these pigs their dance moves? Must have been hell to try to decrease the lag. This high-speed action has my yes-vote.

Very late, but I was entertained. The climbing in the end was kinda dull, but what to do. Yes-vote for the run and also yes-vote for the frog eating ducks.

I would personally preffer to have it b/w, BUT I would not mind if some sad encoder would spend an evening to encode this in color. Where that file would be hosted is another question. I am not saying "Let's have 2 Torrents for my run on this site" (Like with JXQ's Super Metroid, but that is due to a much better reason), but I am giving my permission that this can be encoded in colors, even tough I would like to see it in b/w. Well whatever. Do as you please =)

AT LEAST I DIDN'T SLEEP WITH LUMBERGH! ... 1) I was not aware of VBA20 when I started this run 2) Once I asked for the differences, the only reply was "It emulates the game accurately." which didn't really help. 3) When I got this reply, I was far into the run, and I did not want to restart.
