The TAS stops rather at a point where the bus can drift towards the end mark while it slows down from a lack of input.

Are these issues specific to MAMEHawk or do they occur with upstream MAME too?

Espgaluda 1 and 2, Guwange and Ketsui should work now. Do the coin errors not occur in upstream MAME? EDIT: Checking MAME's issue tracker and I found this: https://github.com/mamedev/mame/issues/7720 Simply holding the coin button will result in a coin error (intentional design to prevent some lockpicker bypassing inserting a coin). It needs to be pressed and unpressed in a short interval. I can insert coins fine with quick taps to my binded coin key.

It is not weird that MAME is trying to avoid getting sued. If they don't comply, they very well risk the copyright holders sueing them and the repo taken down. Also, it's just the "nice" thing to do for the copyright holders.

Could you please list the zip names for these? Trying just what I think is Akai Katana (akatana.zip) and it just results in an "unknown load error" / MAMEHawk doesn't understand what system it is.

The emulator doesn't seem to crash for me with armwest.zip. Not sure what's going on then.

Seems that this is due to the core internally just rounding down bounds sizes, which ends up resulting in 0.75 turning to 0. It shouldn't be too hard to actually fix.

Please post the zip name of one of the problematic games.

For all games that don't load, I get an error like this:
That's odd, that seems to imply no rom hashes are present? I'll do some investigation later. Not sure what the crashes in game are from, probably MAME doing some unimplemented syscall.

That looks like some general tastudio bug rather than anything actually connected to MAME. Please report it on GitHub.

Is this installation purely in nvram? Or is it perhaps actually an hdd diff file (which wouldn't be supported for now).

Open games consisting of just one file normally. For extra archives and CHD files, create an xml launcher using Tools - Miltidisk Bundler (primary ROM to run should go first)
sfiiin3n requires a chd file alongside the zip. Please properly follow these directions in the OP. Also, I suspect the first rom file you handed it was incorrect. The rom you want to load must be first. If you have some base rom that needs to go second in the multidisk bundler.

You are supposed to hand it the .cue file, not the .bin file. What does the exception say?

Emulators get ported when someone really wants it to be ported, enough to do it themselves. BizHawk developers are purely volunteers and do things they want to do. For consoles like the PSP however there are additional complications like PPSSPP JIT which isn't waterboxable, which makes the job much harder and less appealing.

Sounds like something is just going wrong with the cheat list when loading a new ROM up for the first error. The second error is just you ran out of memory somehow?

Where exactly is this not working? Is it just Windows refusing to bind an extension to EmuHawk? Or is it letting you bind an extension but double clicking clicking the rom just does nothing?

Note for anyone cataloging publications: remember to set the Game Version field along with the Game field. Do not leave this blank! This is important for the correct game title to be shown on the publication. Generally, it will cause region/revision info to be not present in the title (and worse issues for games like Pokemon). Even if there's only 1 game version able to be set, you must set it explicitly for it to be used. Wrong: Correct:

1. What movie exactly are you trying to replay? 2. Make sure you are using the same BizHawk movie that the movie was created in. Movie publications will have the emulator version right above the movie download link. 3. Make sure you are using the exact same ROM that the movie used. BizHawk will have a warning if the ROM mismatches. 4. If the system uses firmware, make sure you are using the same firmware as the movie used. Again, there will be a warning if the firmware mismatches.
