@MUGG I'm working on the any% US WIP, but got stuck at Combo Cannon thanks to the Jet ability and my Parasol Waddle Dee helper.

Total is -35, but I need a lot bigger buffer to keep some time through the minecart room Initially I ruled out getting a Fire partner from the Birdons, since I'd have to lose Fire to get a Wheelie, then get Fire again from Computer Virus. But honestly, with the amount of time lost getting Fire here, it might've been faster. Either way, Jet first doesn't look likely, unless the Fire mix can be improved by seconds. It's disappointing, since I prefer Jet entertainment-wise, but Fire is just too slow without a Wheelie partner
I know this is slower because I compared it between OGA's GCO run and your GCO Jet and Fire Mix, and figured out the Jet and Fire Mix proposal is slower than the any% WIP run of GCO by OGA. Maybe just keep Jet ability and try ways to defeat Fatty Whale with Jet faster? And maybe clip into the ceiling in the minecart areas and do fully charged Jet boosts at certain times? Also the computer virus battle it's certainly hard to kill all of the virus battle enemies if you have CPU helper. i had to attack the witch boss twice in my any% 1p only usa version wip besides there's a lot of lag at the end of peanut plains in dyna blade

Voting No because it has noticeable suboptimality. I notice alot of slowdown in the TAS.

@MUGG I don't think mixing for Crash in Revenge of Meta Knight's forest stage and then using crash to defeat the 2 bonkers instantly. Jet high jump or Helper High Jump might instantly defeat the 2 bonkers. I'm currently working on any% WIP, starting from Dyna Blade. I sometimes fail, so I do Read+Write on the any% WIP to start from where I left off. I have to now deal with the helper ceiling clip, but the CPU is not willing to just stay there and teleport to Kirby, he just jumps around. Dyna Blade->Revenge of Meta Knight->Great Cave Offensive->Milky Way Wishes I don't know if having Kirby Wheelie Rider shoot stars is a good choice. This is a TAS of Revenge of Meta Knight. The ability I am going to use now is Suplex, and basically my idea is to have the helper Chilly touch the Wheel ability, because the CPU can't do tap-A-rapidly-to-suicide-helper thing, except when his helper HP is gone, but that takes too long.
Postponing at Meta Knight forest area due to laziness
Canceling due to movie overwrite and no backup. Expect another any% WIP by me anytime soon.
Holding Left+Right and Jumping on Gourmet Race for all versions will allow you to keep acceleration for a temporarily amount of time.
I skipped V2 due to it being canceled. After having no ability but a CPU Chilly Helper, I ditched him and ate Wheelie so I can get the Wheel for the Wheelie Rider. Then during the mixing preparation I had to face Cappy and the enemies I have to mix so I can get Jet back.
V3 canceled due to movie overwrite Besides I always cycle from the following: GCO-DB-ROMN or DB-ROMN-GCO or DB-BCO-ROMN
Of course, I made a KSS movie file called SDX_USAWIP1Ponly.smv.
I know that 星のカービィ SDX means Kirby of the Stars SDX, and SDX means (Super Deluxe).
However it's not uploaded just yet. I'm using V1.55 of Snes9x, which is not supported by TASvideos. That's because I wasn't interested in TASing yet, and I don't know if other versions of the same emulator are faster (like MUGG said the OGA and smns72's any% WIP have gotten to the 3rd room of GCO faster then AntyMew's GCO TAS Jet Proposal).

I also know that you have to reset when you defeat Dyna Blade, to save time. However it's prohibited for the RTA community of this game for some reason.

@MUGG It appears like it was uploaded on another account. I might not care who's channel uploaded the any% WIP, but it stopped at Revenge of Meta Knight like the room where you fight 2 Bonkers. I also sometimes stop at some parts, but for some reason when I play a movie on V1.55 of Snes9x, create a save state, and reload, it doesn't play the movie. Instead, you can rerecord it. I used that to change my entire Ninja ability TAS for spring breeze to the wing ability. EDIT: I got it. I unchecked Read-Only.

Although there's a answer to this question, all movies are for (J). The movie can desync due to version differences.

Is the VC faster than original game in boss fights like during boss defeat the screen doesn't shift frames to prevent seizures?

@MUGG Can you do Spring Breeze TAS still on Japanese but with the Wing Ability. Although there's a glitch in Kssu where when you take damage from something like lava or Gordos when you do Bomber Heading you appear to fly up or down. @MUGG I wasn't trying to break the rules, nor I was trying to spam. I guess maybe the helper's hitbox? Since you will soon record the old any% WIP within 1-2 days, like I said, the movie file will only work on (J) versions and with Snes9x v1.43. The movie file won't work on V1.55 or (U) versions. The file I use is Kirby Super Star.smc, without the region stamp and it's USA version. However the ROM name is "KIRBY SUPER DELUXE".

It almost work with CPU helper (like in was0x's 100% no up+down and left+right glitches) but my demonstration isn't working out just yet. That's because the Helper CPU seems to follow Kirby even when Kirby's flying, and that can ruin some of my runs with the Wheelie helper.

I'm 10 years old. (Don't steal it) @MUGG So you used it on a different emulator because of the frame counter and input display look, it doesn't look like anything like Snes9x. It might look like the Bizhawk emulator. Does it work on Wheelie helper and Burnin' Leo helper? It doesn't work on Wheelie helper. Does it also work with Helper Buggzy?

@MUGG Although I'm a kid, I don't want to share personal info. I've started KSS spring breeze tas in 2019, with the first one being with the fire ability. Then I knew about the old reset trick but i don't know if it saves time on US version so I did it. I'm not very good at Jet and Suplex abilities, since I don't know how to like do the thing where when Kirby grabs an enemy he does some stomp on it, not the down + Y trick that's something different like everytime kirby does a punch on it which if done correctly, kills both lololo and lalala in that boss fight. Sorry for capitalization. I'm working on the any%, but since I'm American and not Japanese, and I only have the US version of the game, it might encounter some issues. My favorite copy abilities for KSS are Wing, Fire, and Suplex. They're powerful abilities but since like I said, Fire glitch doesn't work on US version, I lose time, but oh well. I might do a NoUp&Down/Left&RightGlitches% run or the any% no up and down or left and right glitches. Although I have saw and knew about the helper hover clip glitch that saves time in Dyna Blade, it doesn't work. I'm talking about the glitch that was used in was0x's 100% no up and down or left and right run.

oh i only have the usa version of kirby super star so i can't do interesting things like soar upwards with jet or glitch downwards with fireball btw the any% wip is slow and i'm using snes9x "v1.55" which isn't supported by tasvideos because my dad downloaded it for me so i can intendly play snes games i don't know if the rng on that snake that bites you like if it jumps early like the one near the 3rd treasure not the 2nd hidden one then spit the inhaled enemy out and eat it. is that good rng? also check out this video is this a good setup for gco jet and fire? notice the jet helper is cpu and im using the usa thats why i don't soar and do 2 player stuff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cl7ble2zXx4

I realized when I did my own Dyna Blade TAS it unlocked Revenge of Meta knight. So GCO might not be required for the any% WIP.
