Instead of getting the spanner and flashlight individually you can GET ALL, it generates extra text but it should still be faster.
Thanks for the tip. I revised my submission and managed to save 8 frames.

Why would the load times be so long? Is that deliberate trolling or something?
The game was made as part of CSSCGC 19, a competition of crap games. It's part of the "charm".

Adding to that, BizHawk's MAME core can also run the PlayChoice-10 game with a lightgun. Although, I don't think a second screen of instructions is useful for TASing, and the Single Screen BIOS doesn't work.

The description text on the FIELD screen has very strange formatting; do you know if it's like that on an actual machine?
I don't have access to a ZX Spectrum, but I did test the game in two other emulators (Fuse and Unreal Speccy Portable) and they display the glitch in the 128K model, but not in the 48K one. Booting the game in the 128K's 48K BASIC doesn't show the glitch either. I must have overlooked that as a software fault and not a hardware one. I have since made an update to my submission that removes the glitch. I request that this file replaces the current one.

What did you fix, and why replace the file?
The original file doesn't have sync settings, you need to manually change the NES Right Port to ControllerNES in the core's controller settings, otherwise the run doesn't sync properly. My fixed file has the sync settings and plays automatically.

The American release cut the level count in half, Sokoban (or Shijou Saidai no Soukoban) is the more complete version.

ADMIN NOTE: Links to the project page have been removed as the site distributes conversions of commercial ZXS releases. Discussion of the peripheral is still permitted.
The Dandanator Mini is a homebrew peripheral for developing and releasing cartridge games on the ZX Spectrum. This would speed up loading quite a lot, compared to tapes. Retroworks has an official compilation of their games available for download in the Dandanator Mini format.

I tested both the movie file and the verification file in BizHawk 2.8, both of them match with a bad dump.

I started encoding runs from Gruefood Delight to replace encodes with rough quality and that have been taken down from YouTube. Encodes I've uploaded so far:
