What exactly does the term Demonstration mean in this context anyway? To me the term demo kind of imparts a meaning of something shown as a proof of concept that may not necessarily be the full featured product. Would a demo have to be a full complete playthrough? Would it even have to be optimized?

For those that want to have a lot of branches for a game, let them have them. They will enjoy making them and there will probably be people that enjoy watching it. Besides, the more work goes into a game the more current "main branch" runs could be made even faster and / or more entertaining. There are several examples of tases that should have been accepted imo, but were rejected by "arbitrary goal choice".

The tons of little minigames just did not hold my attention past 5-10 minutes. A lot of these also seem to be games where after you get some points you essentially have won and are just waiting for the clock. Maybe if this was MUCH shorter I would have voted Meh instead, but going to have to vote No.

Meh vote from me. I think the tas is interesting technically, but I really have no idea what is going on in the plot in this rpg game other than collecting monsters to kill some fat guy at the end. The game does look like something I would have enjoyed back when though.

I enjoyed watching spiderman swing through the city at high speeds. Lots of dynamic movement through the whole tas. Easy yes from me.

I voted Meh. The game itself is just not really nice to look at or hear. The bosses are almost the same thing. The level designs are simplistic but not a total loss. The constantly dying trick made me want to just skip ahead. I would have voted no if I did not see mario jumping through a set of blocks or do a kind of double jump off of a block stack.

Very entertaining! I take it pacifist as "not killing" not "not attacking" since I did see some attacks colliding with other attacks?

Pretty varied gameplay. The video makes that slide look like it is lagging the game when you go far with it too. The autoscrollers are not exactly exciting imo. Voted yes, but it is kind of borderline meh for me.

That's just how that stage works. When you drink the potion on that screen, you fall slowly when you then jump off the ledge. The game does not in any way indicate that this potion does that.

It is interesting watching this right after watching FractalFusion's standard rom Password Glitch tas. In this one there are some things I question. A lot of unnecessary damage is being taken at times. Is the chest armor really necessary, wouldn't Chameleon's power work better to reduce damage? Also there is a lot of lag at parts, but i don't see you shooting in advance to clear some enemies out. On several bosses there are several spots where it looks like you should have hit them since they were vulnerable again, but delayed, like boomer kuwanger or that dino head boss. Not really sure about this tas... I will say that I think this is a very cool rom hack though.

Spikestaff I believe it's because it's reading the state you had it set in. Clear the greenzone restart, clear greenzone then do the settings. Or create a new bk2 after changing the settings and merge your input and header into that instead. CoolHandMike ok that did it. input something different at the frame 1, then put it back, and ran the inputs back to the same spot with the new changes.

How do I keep the Genesis settings on background visibility layers active? Whenever I go back a frame with TasStudios it resets them then the background layers are visible again. Access by menu Genesis -> Setting. Then setting some background layers active true or false. https://puu.sh/HMntj/c26b9510ad.png
