I used to watch: Dexter's Laboratory (loved this one) Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy Tom & Jerry (watched this a lot) Looney Tunes I don't watch it much now; I don't like any of the new shows (yes, I've tried watching them).

Until then anything anyone can add?
The American version still hasn't come out yet (9 more days), so I don't understand most of what you're saying about the game. I'll get it when it comes out, and then I'll post here if I find anything interesting in real-time play. It's great you're running this game! I'm excited to see the run.

My normal avatar is Kirby's taunt/fighter pose from the first Super Smash Bros. I made it into a nice animated GIF. You can almost hear him saying "Hiii!". Here are all of them (I have 20 now, so I removed the descriptions I had of what each means): I'm really glad Bisqwit created mood avatars. They are great! EDIT: Thanks to creaothceann informing me of the existence of transparent GIFs, I no longer have to decide between my animated "Hi!" GIF and transparent Kirby Super Star PNGs. I took the opportunity to make transparent GIFs of all my avatars. They all look much better now, and I got to keep the animated Hi GIF!

Bhezt Rhy, I've saved 9 frames from the Mother Jellyfish boss fight in the WIP you sent me. My PM box is messed up again; I sent the WIP to you in a PM 12 hours ago and it still hadn't sent, so I just deleted the message. Anyway, here's World 1, everyone!

There's one at cdiemu.org, but you have to pay to run a game for more than 3 minutes at a time.

Dolphin has regular updates of its OS X version, if you were thinking of TASing a GameCube/Wii game.

That's a really hard game. Here's another SpongeBob Flash game that might be good for TASing: Run For the Krusty Krab They remade the game since I last played it years ago, since I remember it having worse graphics and easier levels. Anyway, it's a platform game with BAD controls. With TAS precision, it would look seriously awesome.

I have to say I like the look of the Japanese version better. The character looks more polished to me, and I like the different health bar. Not only is the final boss room obviously faster, but it looks like the "Stage Clear" comes up faster too.

I provided a new vbm in the submission text. The ROM version was changed from Kung-Fu Master (U) to Spartan X (J). Feel free to encode/publish/judge now.
I think you might need to directly ask someone with those privileges to change the movie file, here in the discussion forum or in a PM.

I think it would be good as a secondary encode. Some people are annoyed by all the door transitions and cutscenes and more people might watch if they could see just the action instead.

I sound the letters out, but for abbreviations like SM64 and SMB, I usually say the names of the full games, unless I'm short on time. I think "tais" or "tess" Videos sounds OK, but "tass" Videos doesn't sound good to me; I guess it's a matter of opinion.

Actually "fceux" looks like some kind of French word.
It's an abbreviation you can't really sound out, like RSVP (except that one is French). You'd have to add vowels to be able to sound it out.

That picture looks pretty cool. It should be put on his campaign posters for 2012. Too bad it's obviously fake.

Wow, that's pretty interesting! I always wondered if this game had an end. So what would be the goal of a TAS of this game? Maximum score would take a LONG time, and it can't be completed.

Great tutorial adelikat! Is it really pronounced "tass" Videos though? I thought it was "tee ay ess" Videos. Just asking so newbies don't get confused.

I grew up pretty sheltered with respect to video games, with my parents not buying me a console until 2004, and even then it was only a PS2. They wanted me to spend my childhood doing "creative" things like reading books and drawing. But one day in 2008, I was looking for a program to let me play my PS2 games on my computer on vacation, and found a PS2 emulator, but uninstalled it because it ran really slow. Around the same time, a friend introduced me to MAME and Vs. Super Mario Bros. I decided I wanted to play the original game, and so I downloaded an NES emulator and SMB1-3. In 2009 I downloaded Project64 and Super Smash Bros., and through that game's Meet the Characters mode, I found out about all the great franchises like Mario, Zelda, and Kirby, and immediately downloaded multiple emulators and games from those wonderful franchises. Eventually, exposure to games from those franchises on emulators spurred me to buy several classic Nintendo consoles and the Wii, so my first time using an emulator was pretty important since through them I learned what the NES and SNES were and it basically sparked my interest in video games.

But, you know, if your teachers are telling you to do it then you should probably follow their advice, if only to prevent having an argument with them about it.
Yeah, I only do it when I'm writing a paper or something else important. Otherwise, I never do it because it looks bad and it's just not the way I write. You're right, though; best to agree with the teacher and write the way they tell you to. When we type papers, though, it's in Times New Roman, 12 point font, and two spaces doesn't look too good with that font.

Nothing correct or incorrect about it. It's a typographic style choice, nothing more.
I'm told by multiple people whenever I write a report for school or application to a business to "remember to use two spaces to start a new sentence", so I always thought it was the formal (or "correct") way.

He was attacking the site and its administrators for maintaining the positive atmosphere of the site by keeping a user banned who only wants to cause trouble. Wasn't it pretty clear what he meant?

Quintuple banned now. There was RAIN who submitted the UMK3 run, then BYRAIN, Dark Rain, Dark Noob, and now EvilRiu. It's obvious he's just trying to spam the workbench, and it's obvious that the judges will never judge spam submissions from him (and cancel such submissions immediately), so why does he bother? Of course, if he created a good quality TAS and got feedback on it from the forums by members who told him he could submit it, then the judges would judge it like a submission by other non-troll submitters. But, it's looking like he has no intent of submitting a publishable quality TAS.

It seems like it could have been more entertaining if there were crazy glitches and impossible combos like the movies we have published here. But it was pretty entertaining without them so I'm voting Meh.

Same here, but I haven't been here as long or contributed as much as most TASers, so I might do something later I regret (hard to tell right now).
