Oops, added Genre: Platform.
Thanks, Ilari.

This movie needs at least one tag, for Genre. Currently, there are none, which is never supposed to happen. Could someone with the necessary privileges please add "Genre: Platform" as a tag for this publication (assuming that's the correct genre for this game; it should be the same as Bobby is Going Home)?

I ripped the game again (it's around 4GB; does that sound fishy or ok?) And it says it's running but I only get a black screen.
Your dump is incomplete. The ISO should be around 4.4 GB. You may have to format your flash drive in NTFS to be able to support >4GB files (worked for me with my copy). Then, when you dump the game again, make sure Chunk Size is set to Max (assuming you're using CleanRip).

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to put for graphics settings in the URL above because it tells me to go to wiki.dolphin-emu.org to check for KRtDL but obviously it's not there...
It's right here.

Also I downloaded dolphin from the link above, not the wiimote fix from this post... though it has options for using the wiimote so it should be fine?
You will want to use the latest development version of Dolphin 3.5 or possibly one of the old Wiimote-fix revisions. Any other revision will have constant desyncs.

Finally, is it a problem if my computer is 32-bit?
Not at all, as long as you're using a 32-bit revision (a 64-bit binary will not even run on your machine). Great to hear you're picking this up again! Good luck!

Is there a place I could download a binary of r144? I searched and searched for it. All the mirror links on EmuCR are dead too. I mean, if it was the last revision to support the Lynx core, and there was a published TAS on it, it shouldn't be this hard to find, right? If someone has it, could he or she please upload their binary (and the frontend, if it's a different version) to the Google Code page for anyone who wants to TAS a Lynx game on Windows? I would appreciate it.

If he's not, then good luck on your WIP(s)! I'll be watching for them and provide feedback when I can.

Nice run. I thought it was entertaining, so yes vote. I'm glad you decided to run the patched version too; it's interesting to finally see the fifth and sixth levels.

This is amazing! I love it! Voting Yes because I thought it was both impressive and really entertaining. I wish this could be published somehow, but for now, it would make a great Gruefood Delight candidate.

I agree that this shouldn't be published because of the reasons pointed out by diggidoyo, Hero Chaos Chao and jlun2.

This is just short enough to not get boring. I liked all the close shaves too. Yes vote. Why do the submission's reported time and the time the input finishes in the YouTube encode differ by so much? Is it an issue with the game's frame rate?

Thanks for the new encode, dwangoAC! I finally had time to watch, and I found it entertaining how most of the enemies were hardly on-screen a second before they were precisely blasted away. Yes vote!

Wow, that was really unexpected! I wonder if most of his former employees had even played the game.

Shouldn't the game region be "USA" instead of "U", like all the other runs on the (specifically) American version on this site?

Very interesting game. Looks like one of the old DOS games, almost. I haven't played it, but I still found this really fast-paced and entertaining. Yes vote!

Just finished watching the run, and even though I haven't played the game, I thought it was very entertaining. I also really liked the submission text, where the authors talked about how precise and optimized everything was. Very impressive.

Well, since this got accepted, I would encourage you to take your time and make a nice, optimized TAS of each cup instead of trying to work with a full-game GP run.

For what it's worth, I'm on the third track of the Mushroom Cup for the Kart 64 TAS. I plan to reset between Cups, so I think it could be published as four separate or as one large one. I had to take a long break from working on it due to life priorities, but I've recently been able to find time to work on it.
I would say it depends how long each cup takes to make and optimize. If you have to spend a few months on each cup and an improvement is found in one of them that can't be hexed in, then you would want to publish each cup separately (like your MK64 test runs and cstrakm's Super Circuit Cup TASes). Otherwise, if it wouldn't be too much of a pain to improve later, it would be nice to have them all in one movie.

Hmm... Yes it's awesome but why does my subject say that well... New YouTube layout is coming soon and the only thing that can be done is well make a banner
...wow, they never fail to make the layout worse every time. It's a shame this banner may never be used. It could go somewhere on the site though, with a little redesigning.

Yes. And show him the controller input on the emulator. Show him the exact buttons to press to make that possible. Then he'll have to believe it.
