Here's a very well-done speedrun by Brody that applies nearly all the known tricks and glitches to achieve a time of 1:27:31.

Very nice run. It looks pretty optimized, and that alone makes it pretty entertaining, but it was also fast-paced and I didn't find it repetitive. Good job, voting Yes.

OK thank you for the information CoolKirby, but why to vote not?
I'm not voting No for it not to be published. I'm answering the (relatively) new poll question. I didn't find the run entertaining, so I do want it to be published, but in the Vault, and not among the Moons.

It appears you used VBA24 for this run, and not any VBA23 (desyncs on all of them). I also figured out the frame gain/loss at the end of each level for you, VBA24's more accurate emulation means there is more lag by the end of most levels: Mexico City - 101 frames lost (more accurate emulation) Stagecoach - 12 frames lost (more accurate emulation) Painful Gulch - no change Train - 23 frames lost (more accurate emulation) Saloon - 78 frames gained (actual improvement) The Prairie - 3 frames gained (actual improvement) Buffalo - 18 frames lost (more accurate emulation) Ranch - 46 frames gained (more accurate emulation) Rapids - 19 frames gained (more accurate emulation) Cheyenne Mtns - 303 frames gained (big improvement) Tornado - 28 frames lost (more accurate emulation) Jail - 209 frames gained (actual improvement) Also, according to VBA, this run is an improvement of 480 frames over the previous run, not 481. You might want to add all of this to your submission text. Now that we have the Vault, I'm voting No to this so it will still be published, even though the autoscrollers are quite boring.

The player name in the publication is incorrect. It should be "Ferret Warlord" (no spaces). Could someone please fix that?

This sounds great, Brandon! If you could extend this functionality to regular editors and even players as jlun2 suggested, I'll start converting some of the old tables to the new ones.

I edited those pages to delink the TODOs (so those don't appear in that list).
Thanks! The Feature Requests summary page has now been updated to include all of the feature requests. Any coders who want to help implement some changes to the site can now review this handy list and maybe start working on something. The easiest task would be stickying the console wishlist threads, and it should take no time at all if someone with sufficient privileges would like to fill that need.

The TODO in this movie's description isn't a request for an expanded description, but rather, for a new encode with a correct rerecord count. Would any encoders like to take on that task and clear the TODO? Also, is it possible to remove the TODOs from the DeletedPages? It doesn't appear that those pages can be edited, but it bothers me a little that there will always be TODO referrals there for tasks that have already been fulfilled.

Does it take a vested editor to delete a page, like this one? I don't believe I have that privilege. If I don't, could a vested editor or higher delete it? It would only take a few seconds of his or her time.

Though on that note, are there any n64 emulators that aren't complete shit? Preferably ones written in c++? I may be interested in implementing rerecording support in an n64 emulator, if there is any worth while.
Wasn't Project64 being considered for a time? Or was that the one that's closed-source? Even if it is, though, the developers could be politely requested for the source for use in a TASing fork, right?

There isn't a "64" at the end of the game name, silly Blaze.

The least what is required is to tell the program when you "win", and this alone is a difficult task, and may even be subjective (just think of the glitched version of Super Mario World, which shows "The End" while playing a normal level).
Actually, in that run, it's not just a graphical change. The game is actually tricked into loading the The End sequence. (You can't press any button to continue the game when that screen appears, you can only restart the system in order to continue, just like when you reach that screen without manipulating memory.) So an algorithm like this actually could check for that end state, and would return a positive value if it checked that particular glitched run.

Wow, I never expected a wallclip to be found for this game, of all games. Thanks for sharing that with us.

At best, I want to clip in the first level already, though.
Oh, right! You wanted to enter that pool in 1-1 from the side. Good luck!

There's a sock behind the Lighthouse itself (on the Rooftops map), one on top of that big red(?) building by the entrance to the Downtown Rooftops on the main map, and that one on the floating Krabby Patties by Bubble Buddy. That makes all 9, right?

I wasn't entertained, so I voted No, but this looks pretty optimal. It would be a good movie for the Vault.

It definitely could have been better optimized, which detracted from the entertainment value. I'll have to go with Meh.
