A TAS with Debug Mode glitch shouldn't be accepted on the bounds that the developers make them on the purposes of having full control of the game and making things easier for them. Having the pleasure of visiting a game studio and seeing how a debug mode works. They have the ability to warp to places where they want, remove them from the game(Which is rather humorous though to see people flock on where you went), Use any cheats they want, Spawn things for their ease. It's cool that it's there but I feel it removes the challenges ahead. Not to mention removes the fact a TAS is suppose to represent what a superhuman playing the game is doing.

I don't plan to make a submission of this game, because it's overly monotonous. However I'm just making this topic to show a game breaking glitch over Shaq's throw can cancel almost all attacks within frames, Can make him slide to the center of the screen when doing a grab at a corner, and Grab people in mid-air. I have no idea how this passed through the developers of this bad game. Emulator Used: Snes9x 1.52-rr http://www.mediafire.com/?2jrmumupt800bdj (Movie File)

Arcade Game: How many players: 2 Players (Young guy with blonde hair) (Young Guy with brown hair) depicted in short stylized form. (Not Final Fight Btw) What could you do in the game: It was a beat em up game and you could enter buildings. and grab weapons such as a wooden pole to fight with. Some enemies had guns. What does the attract mode show: It shows the 2 players fighting some enemies in an elevator. Their Names and info. Just typical gameplay. When: Late 90's How did you die when you last played it: I entered a bar that was near a gas station, and the bartender with a grey goatee, bald head, suit, black circular glasses and sawed off shotgun tried to shoot me. I left the bar out of fear, but he followed outside with me and having no idea how to fight a man with a gun in this game I get killed. Losing the dollar I put in to play it. It was the very first level and depicted at nighttime

Just been looking at Spawn for the SNES. It has some potential. http://www.gamefaqs.com/snes/588679-todd-mcfarlanes-spawn-the-video-game/faqs/25514 http://www.gamefaqs.com/snes/588679-todd-mcfarlanes-spawn-the-video-game/faqs/6921 Overall it has nice movesets. You start with 99.9 psi, and have to conserve it all for the whole game. If you lose it all whether from dying or running out it's game over. You get 4 points back after you beat some bosses. I'd imagine some total devestation with this.

Updated the submission text with notes about some of the AI from what I've seen TASing this and some reasoning behind my actions.

How many games has the Nostalgia Critic reviewed? I thought he did movies? (I don't watch his stuff)
He touched only two games one as a review (Bebe's Kids) and the other as a Let's Play of Bart's Nightmare. Which was already published http://tasvideos.org/894M.html

MUGEN should be pretty hard to sync with anything given how variable the engine is.Has anybody tested or has results?
I have gotten it to playback my Movie files, and use save states with default MUGEN(Kung Fu Man). It would be harder for others to playback though, due to needing the same stages and characters you have. If you want an encode. I'll gladly make one for proof. EDIT: Link to video As promised.I did a quick encode of a MUGEN TAS. Nothing fancy really but it shows superhuman juggles.

In the glass shop (at about 1:35) you try to kick a pink bowl and miss. Apart from looking sloppy, isn't there any way to break it?
Absolutely no way. I did of fair share of rerecords just trying to hit it, but it wouldn't register. I did both by either jumping kick/punch or regular kick/punch at the end. Getting at different angles or positions to see if it would register.

I agree with Mothrayas on this. I see little to none changes with what emulator I'm using. Similar keys, Similar methods. Only difference is just the graphic quality.

This is definitely a game that would benefit from extensive LUA enhancement and commentary to show hitboxes and why you need to swing as you to in order to hit certain enemies.
I would actually be interested in seeing hitboxes myself for the final boss. I don't know LUA personally, but if anyone who knows how to do it without taking too much of their time. It would be greatly appreciated. Not for sake of the run. Just out of curiosity

I was just unsure about if I should use it right away. After all you said there could be two 1vs1 matches. Still thinking it through would be better now while the action is intense than later.

Link to video Just some more progress with a 2 player fight, and a fight against Law. I also implemented the frogman glitch that Warepire suggested.

No, it doesn't affect judging. That's the way Dolphin emulates (it's like that for all games), and the judges know that. The encode, of course, shows what the run would look like if your computer could play it back in full speed in Dolphin.
Alright. Just was wondering. I'll give it a try despite the lag. Among other games that I'm working on. Mainly trying to finish the Tekken one first.

It won't run at full speed unless you have a powerful computer. You can still TAS it accurately, but it will play back slowly.
Does that affect Judging if the judge can't play back the movie at full speed either so to speak, but the encode can?

I was wondering if True Crime: New York City is TASable in Dolphin ? I am able to beat in an hour for any % unassisted. However being TASed I'm sure it would be done in less time. EDIT: Okay I checked and did some testing, and it's possible, but my system is not strong enough for it, and lags. :(

This run is better than the other one you submitted overall. More entertaining to watch, and fast too. Yes vote.

I found this TAS went pretty fast despite the noises and sounds suitable for waterboarding. It was polished well overall. There was no time being wasted. I still think it's not publication worthy though, as I think if it were accepted. People will start thinking it's okay to submit in TAS of bad games. No vote. Ending is so bad too lol
Um, it IS okay to submit TASes of bad games. Ever seen the AVGN alden exhibition?
Yes I heard of it. However I'm talking bad games that are just boring to watch. Not bad games that are cheap.

Alright. Was just wondering. Overall it still holds the same quality as Kyman's other than the Lawyer Fight.

This game is too slow and the glitch isn't really cool. I couldn't tell that it wasn't supposed to happen. Also, the damage taking and the dodging looked bad, even though it seems optimal. Also, the lame music is definitely an off-putter. Out of all the Addams Family games, I don't think this warrants a place on TASVideos. I nearly fell asleep before it ended. I'm just glad it wasn't a full run =P Voting no because of bad game choice.
I don't really see anything super-human, Kyman. A few hours after my post I tried doing the glitch on console and succeeded easily.
After all you said. Why did you decide to make a TAS of this game ?
