Ah, I remember seeing that. I don't think we could show that without losing time, but interesting idea for sure. At least we were able to do the other method at the end!

We clipped out of bounds on the last shot and it didn't lose any time since we need to wait for the catapult anyway. It might also be possible to clip out for the second shot and warp back up for the third, but I'm not sure how that would affect things. It's an interesting idea though.

The analog stick is compatible, but doesn't provide any benefit. There are no gradual movements in the stick, it just mimics what we can do with the d-pad, but we can adjust the camera to help get better angles as needed.
I'm happy to hear you're impressed so far! This is actually our third revision of the TAS, but first time submitting here. We're both high-level RTA runners of the game and have found a lot of the tricks and routing, which certainly helps.
