Maybe they never got their activation email? Would these types of accounts be in this list?

Those aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. Special sauce indeed.

Dunno how many times this one has been said, but I'm sure it has been brought up. "Oh, (s)he did a run of a popular game, accept it, everyone is familiar with it, and will watch it." also "This is klnown as one the hardest games of all time. I did this in real time without any slowing the game down. Turbo fire doesn't work in this game so I had to take breaks from my arm getting tired from tapping so much." (silver surfer)

Yes, this movie should not desync if you choose all the correct settings. Sure it takes a bit more of an effort to playback a movie in mupen (like 2 more clicks) than other emulators, but I think the majority of the community should be able to playback this movie if their computer can run mupen. Besides, votes serve as a guide to publishers in order to sway their view whether to publish the movie or not. It's ultimately their decision. Also, there a QUITE A FEW people in this community who believe that most N64 games are BORING to watch.
(I agree with fabian)
With the amount of fluff present in most N64 games (such as unskippable cutscenes) I'm inclined to agree. Fortunately, we have the luxury of choosing what games to run, and we choose the entertaining N64 games. We'll run out soon, though. ;)

I loved this game when I was a kid. I recently watched the speedrun, but got bored of it, due to the lack of item use. I expected the same effect when I was about to watch this tas. I was pleasantly surprised. Doing each level 3 times does make the game a bit repetitive, but what can you do. The minor repetitiveness is not enough to change my STRONG YES VOTE to a meh, let alone a weak yes vote. A hearty and resounding YES!

I'm surpised that there are no 15 letter words that can be formed that have either an x, q, j, or z on both of the double letter marks. I mean, a P or C is ok, even a W would be better.

Just for shits and giggles, and to aid our pointless quest of getting into the basement early (perhaps to choose some new stars?) I have found a new place to BLJ outside of the castle. I thought this was well known, but this was news to FODA. I've known about this since... A year ago.

Done.
Sorry to nitpick, but... The url text "movie titles" doesn't fit with the header "List All Movies." "Movie titles" sounds a bit weird to me.

Here is the attempt I just did, which comes very close. I think it fits your criteria pretty well (not near the top of the scoreboard, but good to watch).

If anyone's seen the Jackie Chan movie "Around the world in 80 Days" (one of the most random movies of all time, you have Jackie Chan as a french butler trying to recover a jade buddha), Arnold makes a cameo. He's obsessed with this statue of himself (ironically it's a pose of him during the original terminator), and he starts screaming MY ARM!!!!!!!!! MY ARM!!!!!!!!!!!! when Jackie breaks the statue's arm. I swear, I was on the floor for 10 minutes after watching that.

Who the 'ell are you!? You're one ugly motherf***** Stick around! Come with me if you want to live. Hasta La Vista, dickwad. And also... "If you like pineapple... I KILL YOU!" Of course, my favorite Bruce Willis quote: Yippee-kay-yay MotherF*****! Being in California, I hear about him all the time. He repeatedly calls the opposition "girly men."

I got desyncs where the program would delay input by +1 frame. I fixed this by clicking "reload" option and then deleting 1 frame of input in the program after I finished editing the m64. After that everything worked fine.
Were you talking to me or just in general? Actually, I don't know jack about hex editing, this tool was created by zefiris. I just provided a mirror: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3849&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=20 I dunno if I have the most updated version, try asking zefiris.

HEY! :D. I was going to keep that mirror up for a year (it's been 3/4ths of a year), it looks like maybe I should keep it for a while longer!

Can you also fix the color change (or lack thereof) in the life force doors in Jet Force Gemini? What about bad textures in Chameleon Twist? What about the whole emulation thing with Donkey Kong 64? Jesus, give the man some time.

Yay! So now we just need to buy everyone on tasvideos quad core PCs. Would it be possible to figure out at what %age speed your movie will desync at at a certain interval of time? If so, then can you "throttle" the max speed to be the maximum required speed for the game to sync? Sounds like a good temporary solution.

Looking/sharing porn with the little kiddies at summer camp?
I'll have you know two summers ago the kiddies were looking at inapporpriate pictures on googleimages in the computer lab; I helped facilitate upgraded safety features to prevent such internet misuse. I'm a good counselor, not a bad one.
Aww, you take out all the fun out of summer camp. I remember back in the elementary school days, during summer camp we used to share fart/sex jokes, play around in the mud (pun intended), etc, and we loved it. You are doing robotics camp, right? How long till the first robotic penis is made in your group? I give it 2 days.

I could have sworn I've heard of Vectorman. He's the guy who has no arms and legs and he has a game with rabbits on the Wii, right? Oh wait, that's Rayman.

Regarding your final points, waiting two-four weeks before publishing a run won't magically kill all interest in it, sorry.
I don't understand what you are saying here. I never mentioned anything about losing interest in a run because it was in the queue.

I also do not believe we should reject submissions merely because they are not well-known games... but that's another story entirely, and another reason behind my disappointment in Nesvideos.
I never said we should reject games because they aren't well known. That's just stupid. I said that these games inherently will be given less attention because they are not well known, and this leads to a slower publishing speed.

While I appreciate your "grumpy gus" name-calling, I would like to say that I am not glad to have the encoders around. They do a good job, and I am glad for them. But the standards behind what they do, and the reasoning behind how it is done, is what disappoints me.
The queue is smaller than it has ever been before. I can't see how you can still complain. I firmly believe that since the fact that unknown games get published slower than known games is inherent, and probably cannot drastically change, the best thing we can do is clean up the queue using this priority system to allow faster publication for both known and unknown games.
