Being a washing machine WOULD be fun though. I don't think it hinders you anywhere but it does make you invulnerable to "bad" floors (i.e. quicksand, swampwaters, vines)
You learn something new everyday! :). As a washing machine, you have a smaller form factor, so maybe you can fit into places you couldn't fit before. But you don't really get the washing machine transformation until later on in the game, right? It can also happen by accident, but then mumbo transforms you back I think.

Tell me more about this adapter.

It reminds me of Minerva McGonagall from Harry Potter. Awesome. Quite.

seriously, an avi or m64 would be really helpful for this colliwobble jump. I can do it in the yellow grass, but not on the wall that's at a slight angle from the rest of the cliff. http://tas.monotoli.org/mov/bk/ARRGH-bkDJ.mkv (less than 2MB)
Man, that's a great quality vid for it's file size and length :). mkv is quite versatile, isn't it. Back on topic. I'm glad that someone, or a group of people are working on BK! I have a few save-states in the game, but not too many, I'm up to click clock wood (is that even the name for the forest level with the birds that come out of holes) but I haven't played any BK for about 4 months; but if anyone wants to try something, I might be of help in providing save-states. Looking forward to watcing the progress of this run, and with people like Sami, AKA, bkDJ, etc (sorry if I missed anyone) this run should be quite good! So with a 100% run, will we get all the cheatos? They don't specifically show up in the status screen(s), do they? But they do activate codes on the treasure trove cove floors. Being consistent with this, would getting completing the puzzle in Banjos's house to get more codes be part of 100%? One more comment, does transforming into a washing machine allow any new glitches/sequence breaks?

I didn't read many of the posts either, but a brilliant, or extremely stupid idea just came to me... What if the emulators themselves provide a watermark while you play the game? This could eliminate confusion between console and emulated runs (which inherently is off topic). Or even better yet, allow for a user-provided watermark. Downside, of course, is the fact that a watermark is an eyesore, and may cover some of the gameplay.

Great run Fabian! I really enjoyed it. I don't have much to comment on, as most of the praise has already been said, and after viewing this run... I feel kind of humble. :)

Somebody call the WHAAAAAAAAAMbulance. I've been "shot down" numerous times by mwl (mainly in route suggestion), and I'm not complaining. ;) Sorry, I'm on holiday in the U.K right now, and I think I'm drunk/tired/jetlagged/bored. Can't wait for the AVI, and I'm gonna download the commentary and then listen to it on the plan journey back to CA. That should tie me down for at least an hour (or however long my battery life lasts on my laptop).

Yes, I have been watching Guanobowl's TAS since the Adult portion and everything and this is a really amazing TAS. That is why I continued to support GuanoBowl as much as I could and wrote a glitch guide for people so they could understand how he performed most of all of his glitches. http://tasvideos.org/ZeldaOcarinaofTimeTricks.html Thanx Adelikat for putting it up there. I'm encoding the video for this so far I just got to the Adult portion but I will continue to encode it untill its finished.
Welcome to the forums! THanks for encoding the run :)

So in total I'd say that at most 15 minutes could be shaved off given our current knowledge, without counting Bottle Adventure. Since BA is version-specific, runs using the glitch should be put into a separate category.
Not here :). We tend to make movies out of the buggiest (most always means earliest) ROMs possible, while still being legit roms (No hacked or bad dumps)... to give us the most freedom while glitch hunting,

I don't mean to be rude, but are you sure you checked all the plugin settings, rom version number, etc? These settings are mentioned in the original post.

Breaching DoT. I firmly belive it impossible, it requires superspeed and there is no items other that a sword, shiled and ocarina. Even if its breached the door forces the player to the side and into the void. Getting pass the door again as an adult would cause that much bother since the walls can be breached and from that point Adult Link can use a death warp to pass the door.
Hmm, we are able to use light arrows on B in the ToT (via BA), right? If we can somehow get an item on a B button as a kid, and use some combination of super sliding and hover boosting (which means we need bombs/bombchus on B). It just may prove possible. Doubtful, but there's a fools hope ;). Great run, BTW! :).

I vote yes. The run was quality material, especially after the Deku Tree. You put SO much effort into this run, despite the 5000+ route changes you had to go through. I love this run, and I can't wait to see more of your work. Hopefully improving this run (with the new route, and maybe slightly more precision) is on the top of your list :). Great run, great progress, great perseverance, GREAT JOB!

How come in the beginning of the video he skips from one place to another?
Because you touch yourself at night. Seriously, it's because he's using an emulator, and probably loaded a save-state.

LOOKIE LOOKIE! Acyrte is back at the OOT glitch master (along with Kazooie)! From here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtnc_wxBjwE 1. Deplete Deku Stick Supply to 0 2. Get fish in bottle 3. Plant Bean in lake hylia 4. Become Adult 5. Go get hoverboots early 6. Beat Forest temple (To get rid of shiek) 7. Ride beanplant to Fisherman's Pond 8. Go Fishing (20 rupees) 9. Equip Hover + cast fishing line (v1.0 only) 10. Move to door w/ line cast 11. Go back towards ToT 12. In hyrule field (Not in lake hylia) Pause and unpause (puts deku stick on B [DON'T PRESS B]) 13. Empty bottled fish and catch it again 14. Do backflip and then press bottle button and then B before you hit the ground. (puts bottle on B) 15. Go to ToT 16. Put fish on c-right and make sure deku nuts aren't equipped (not sure but to be safe). 17. Become child 18. Become Adult (light arrows are now on B) 19. Perform Ganon Early (sword glitch method or bomb-boosted hover method) 20. Perform Ganon's Tower Skip w/ bomb 21. Use bottle to reflect the energy ball 22. Hit him w/ light arrow 23. Pause and equip sword. 24. Hold him down w/ attacks (easiest w/ quickspins) till he is dead in 1 cycle.

The incredible machine series was awesome. I remember playing it in 1999 (Middle School), and finding creative ways of solving puzzles. I always solved something how it wasn't meant to be solved. The Incredible Machine: Even more contraptions is the best version by far.

Isn't that a good thing? If the author wants to improve his run just because of this reason, good for him/her. Sure it might be a headache, but a run has gotta be improved eventually, either in speed, or in this case, quality. GB probably won't improve his v2 run, if it is quite perfect just because it emulates better. My reasoning is: If there ever is a version 3, after a GREAT version 2, it will most likely be because of a better route or a new trick that has been discovered.

Fusoya locked the most recent release of SDW, but it says on his site, you can edit older releases. I'm not sure if that will help you, but there must be some similarities.

Did you mirror (or have) this file that was mentioned in the SDWTLC.txt ? http://jeffreymr.tripod.com/board/dwtlcover.txt
Unfortunately, I don't. You could try asking hhallahh (the author of the mirrored guide), he seems to be slightly active on acmlm's (a fellow TASer) board, and on the internet in general.l
