you don't have to do the practice round at all. That only starts by talking to the girl (romani?). The aliens start coming at 2:30 and you defend it until 5:15, that's all you have to do.

You only have to go to pinnacle rock once, at least according to the route I have. You get the koume/kotake bottle, the goron race bottle, and the ranch bottle.

Yes you can. just stand outside of the cutscene trigger, and aim through the upper part of the bars and to the hive. Unless you mean the one where you get kicked out that occurs right away, in the other room. I don't think its possible for that one, though I haven't TAS tested it.

This question doesn't deserve it's own topic, and it has to do with a SMW hack, so I'll just ask it here. Who has played super mario odyssey? has anyone made a video of better than 59.58 in the games training course? heres a link to a vid i made of the afformentioned time, it only took like an hour to make, so it's not optimal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vonQAv0jWTA Also, if the walkthrough for SCW is complete, where is the full version uploaded?

I think petrie means to pull the bomb out earlier so when you do the superslide you don't have to wait for the explosion.

After the first wizzrobe battle you can hookshot up to the torch instead of using fire arrows to melt the ice and going up that way.

I record on VHS, I'm in the submission process for SDA. It could take a while though. Edit: Since that 13:38 isn't the one I'm submitting, I've asked my dad to convert it to digital format (I just remembered he had the equipment to do it), and I'll see if I can get it on youtube from there. (my new run is only 3 seconds faster, it uses better strategies) Edit 2: I have the file on my pc but its 800mb so I can't upload it to youtube. I'm trying to figure out how to edit it down.

I'm working on a run of this on console and have gotten a time of 14:23. Does anyone still have FODA's 16:11, the link is old/down and I would like to see it.

Action mode is like Proffesional mode I think. It's a different mode with just the action stages.

This topic got me playing tetris (on NES) again, and I want to thank you for the inspiration. I reached level 18 from starting from level 9, with a score of 164,595 and 184 lines. I haven't been able to get a respectable score like that until now. (before today my best was probably about 50,000).

I'm a noob here, but my cousin was playing smb3 and found if the screen changes on the overworld and your on a hammer bro right after it scrolls over you don't go into the fight. I'm not sure if it could be used, but i'm just trying to help out here.
