Maybe you have a different version of the doom.wad file?
Thank you, I compared my doom.wad file against those listed here, http://doomwiki.org/wiki/DOOM.WAD and as it turns out my file matched NONE of those there. Don't know how that happened but after getting a proper copy of the file everything works fine now.

Ok, I gotta ask, but I can't seem to get this run (demo) to playback without desyncing. I'm using the latest version of PrBoom+ and this demo desyncs in both the regular PrBoom+ and GLBoom+. Happens the same every time. The desync becomes instantly apparent in Diemos Lab but honestly I think something is happening during the transition between Refinery and Diemos lab because that transition isn't nearly as quick as the rest. EDIT - may not be this run (demo) specifically. Some other runs I have are also desyncing.

Sorry, but I think two guys, one controller does it better. Jump towards the end of the following video to know what I mean, http://archive.org/download/AwesomeGamesDoneQuick2013/AwesomeGamesDoneQuick2013_part126_LiveFreeOrDieHarderestWithAVengeance_4M.mp4

This TAS was one I've waited a long time for. I've often wondered when this one would happen so I was very excited when I found out about it the other night. When I was younger I played the heck out of this game. I went out of my WAY to get 100% completion. I even had the official Nintendo strategy guide to help me, which for levels 4-E it was absolutely essential. I watched this entire run in awe as you guys (the team of runners behind this amazing TAS) absolutely destroyed or rather made light work of all the levels that used to drive me insane such as 3-E, 4-E, and 5-E. I was simply impressed with every single frame of this run and I cannot honestly fathom how anyone, I MEAN anyone could vote no on this amazing run. I know the year is still early but this run is easily, EASILY, TAS of the year worthy and the runners behind deserve TASers of the year. Also can I just say how much I enjoyed some of the little things about this run such as in the level "The Looooooooongest Cave" when Yoshi was licking and hopping to the music. Loved it and this run.

Big surprise here from me... I have never really played ANY of the 3D Zelda games. I played like the first half hour of OoT and about the first 1/3 of Wind Waker and that's it. So watching any of these Zelda runs I wouldn't understand ANYTHING that is going on. However this past weekend I caught AGDQ for the first time EVER and watched RunnerGuy2489 do the 100% run and Cosmo do the any% run and with both runners explain everything as they went along I could better understand what is going in this amazing TAS. EASY yes vote from me.

I always welcome improvements no matter how small, but just like the last run, could someone do a 1080p (or higher) encode with max/highest/best settings using a high-res texture pack? I will include links to the various packs below: http://www.n64redux.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=266 http://www.emutalk.net/threads/43773-Mollymutt-s-100-finished-Super-Mario-64-pack http://www.emutalk.net/threads/41509-Nintemod-Super-Mario-64-Retextured http://www.emutalk.net/threads/30498-RiSiO-s-Retro-Mario-Sixty-Four Oh and here is a link to the latest beta version of the Glide64 plugin, if needed: http://down.emucr.com/v1/VBCE9CJQ I thank you in advance to whomever may step up to this task. I'd do the encode myself if I had a good enough computer.

I watched this video and my mind was blown, and yet somehow in this blown state I managed to think of something that if possible could blow one's mind so far beyond belief it would be crazy. Imagine if this very concept could be applied to the latest 0 star Mario 64 run. I've followed all the various runs for Mario 64 and to me it seems possible, but I'm not expert and wouldn't know if there is any of the previously mentioned issues that would keep it from being possible.

Would you happen to know where is a high-res texture pack?
Actually I do as I try to keep up with the latest details on texture packs. For a 100% completed SM64 high-res texture pack, check this thread, http://emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=43773 Note that I recommend using the latest glide64 plugin (if you need a link for this, just ask) for this texture pack. Oh and depending upon the game, I can link you to other texture packs if interested.

I just had to register so I could comment on this video. I've been following this game since before getting 16 stars was thought to be an impossible yet awesome to achieve goal. After seeing this video all I can say is: Epic. It had been a while since the last run of this game and even so I still could see most (if not all) the differences. About the only thing I would say is that perhaps someone could do a 1080p encode using one of the high-res texture packs available, :), because that would be great.
