well to me wind waker was fun, but it just all seemed to me that it was really marketed toward the younger players as opposed to mid - late teens. i actualy like the graphics in WW because, as you say, captured the spirit of the game. just something about playing WW just makes me want to go on rupee (spelling?) hunts through grass and pots for some reason instead of questing. after seeing that side of the link genre for so long though, i just think its time to show another side. and yes its also true that looking great doesn't automaticly mean that the game is going to be mature, but it helps a little. but then again when i play games i rarely worry about the graphics for more than the first 15 min. if its got the gameplay elements i'm looking for i love it, childish or not. take secret of mana, basic sprite game yet its my fav rpg even till today. graphicly, yes the new zelda looks awesome IMO, i just hope they have all the right stuff in the other places that really matters. EDIT - and about his clothes, he still has the green set up. they aren't just fluro green. more of a greeny brown sort of colour. to me it looks like something anyone would go hunting with at those times. i do agree he needs the long blonde hair though. mabye its all tucked up in that giant floppy hat he has but it just doesn't seem like link without the hair

hmm... i'm not sure what to think of this movie. i mean its fast, well done but at the same time its almost TO fast to really think about whats happening. not to mention that farting noise each time you bounce on something is really shitting me lol. that aside, well done on what seems to be a game ment to be played at a slower pace. thumbs up

then again, judging from that pic up there it looks like link is barly in his 20s if that. mabye late teens. i wouldn't exactly call that old enough for a beard (yes i know you COULD grow one, but who wants one that young?) and after finding out this game is on gamecube i freaked out. who knew gamecube could have such good graphics. hell if they made games like this, GC wouldn't be next to extinct now. but that aside, whatever his age, this new game is looking to be exactly what i was talking about, a mature adult link game. not some kiddy game with cel-shaded graphics and a talking boat (seriously wtf lol)

question: this new zelda game is coming out for the new nintendo machine right? link turning into a wolf? while its an ok idea, i personaly think that zelda games should stay away from the whole transformation area. it just doesn't work well for the series. i thought majora's mask was the worst one of the lot honestly. at most, you should be able to control other people of diffrent races at times. also i think its about time they started pushing zelda games into the more mature areas of gaming. he's had what, like 10 games all cutesy and fluffy, its about time they made a serious looking one. i mean we've seen gannon(dorf) so many times as a pig its just not surprising anymore. i want to see some demonic looking ghost type gannon. someone that just screams i'm a bad. not a big pig, or a person with funny looking hair. no need for blood or guts, thats going a bit to far, but just general scary looking bosses, enemies and atmosphere and i'm be a happy guy.

James Pond is the first game, and James Pond: Robocod is the 2nd. just wondering if anyone had any interest in running these games. i havn't played these games in over 10 years so my memory is a little fuzzy on what they were about, or even what you had to do, but if i remember right they were fun to play. also i remember that robocod was nearly impossible for a kid to finish. in fact i dont think i made it past the 2nd level much less finished them. just a thought though. EDIT - just played the 1st game and everything came back to me. you have to do random underwater missions (being a fish and all) like save all the lobsters from being taken by humans by getting keys (1 at a time) and unlocking the cages.

ok i fast fowarded through the whole movie again and its working now. strange. anyway i have 1 question. when you use earthquaker when dropping from that small platform in ankor wat, this is to stop those big stone giants from walking/forming in the small hallway you go through right? if not why do it? other than 1 thing i'm glad i retried to view it. up to the pyramid now

finaly! a run of this game. oh how i waited for it. i remember playing this on the snes and finishing it 2 days later after buying it. lol good use of $100 eh? anyways i'ma watch this now and tell you what i think, though i'm almost positive that i'm gonna vote yes as a no damage run of this damn deffinatly deserves it. btw like i mentioned in the thread a long time ago, its called Illusions of Time in australia. anyone care to mention how/why its name was changed? EDIT - well poo. it desynchs for me in the cannable (spelling?) village where the pig kills himself. but from what i saw i loved it. only wish there was 1 grade higher than a simple YES

does anyone know if this even exists? i've read many posts saying how hard cps3 is to emulate and that the chip generaly tends to fry if even looked at wrong. only games that i know of that even use CPS3 are the street fighter 3 series so thats all i want it for. however the lasts posts on the subject are from like 2001 - 2003 so for sure some progress must of been made?

having finaly been able to watch the last movie, unfortunatly i have to vote no. not only did i find the run very hard to sit though, it just did'nt have that "awesome game" feel to it. i almost fell asleep during the run actualy. its just a bad game IMO. however the run was really well done and executed. sorry.

brilliant. deffinate yes vote from me. judging from the re-records you used, its obvious that any mistake (such as not clearing the first step at the 3rd trial for the wizard) has a reason behind it. this was my fav of the 3 W&W titles as a kid. loved every moment of it

i think the length and planning needed would put most people off. this would'nt be a short run either unless someone found, or knows a serious time saving glitch or path. much as i would like to see it done myself, i think if it was to be tried it would be... oh say mabye 3 - 6 hours. that is prolly a huge understatement too EDIT - oh and just some random info about the game... in australia (where i live) its called Illusions Of Time. funky huh?

i liked this run. and the dying glitch was quite funny. while i agree the game is bad, this game was played well so it gets a yes from me.
