im voting yes on this for sure. this is my fav genesis game and to see it played so well was a pleasure. wonderful movie to relax to and enjoy. (specialy the music, its so awesome) should be published IMO. d(>_o)

with the current rules, i doubt this one will get published as its not fast as possible. i think there should be a section for pure entertainment value games. much like hacked games

i thought this was great to watch and got lots of enjoyment out of it. the bad luck that strikes toad and yoshi almost makes me feel sorry for them lol. however that said the bad luck does get annoying at times when i just wanted to scream OMG JUST FINISH THE RACE ALREADY! as said, it isn't fast as possible and i liked it a lot. should be published for the entertainment value alone

ok i just watched this and all i can say is WTF. its 1 of the most confusing, horrid hacks i've ever seen and is hardly ok to be published. not that the game playing was bad, its the game itself. i couldn't understand what was going on for more than 10 secs. walking through walls, pipes, awful level design. if there was a vote lower than no i'd be using it.

remember back when low rerecords = higher skill? now its low rerecords = unoptimized. funny that isn't it? anyways watching the movie now. will update with my verdict EDIT - ok i liked this. having never played it before i thought it was fun to watch. good stuff

well just from what i remember from personal exp, magic is the fastest* way to kill a boss and 1 level means the diffrence between 100, and 300 damage. * - mabye saber magic is just as fast i dont know since i never payed much attention to the girl at all, it was always sprite for me.

this might of been answered already but i dont feel like going through 10 pages of posts, how do you plan on leveling magic so that bosses are faster to kill? i mean the diffrence between 1 level in magic is huge

truncated, yes you can move between the bamboo spikes. i've done this many times without any slowdown or reloads so with those 2 things it could speed things up a bit. 1.) fall down between the ledge and the spike pit. be careful not to overshoot the landing. 2.) when the spikes have gone up, tap the jump button (see for yourself how long to hold it) and move toward the spikes 3.) your head and shoulders should pass right through the spikes and you will land on the other side ok. hope that helps EDIT - after watching the movie i can say great work ^_^ i liked it since this was 1 of the games i actualy owned as a kid. yes

im not quite sure how to vote on this. yeah i liked it and thought it was well done, but it wasn't exactly exciting to watch. games like this just aren't IMO.

TJ&E unfortunatly falls into a "fun to play, boring to watch" catagory for some people, and i can see why too. personaly i liked the run and would like to see it published. with any luck the 2nd one will be attempted sometime soon

much as people seem to like this i'm not going to watch it. regardless of how good a game it is. its still a hacked rom your using which shouldn't be accepted only if bisqwit likes what has been changed with the game.

deffinatly 1 of my favorite genesis games when i was young. #2 was a disapointment though (though would be cool to see a run of) will watch tomorrow when i wake up. also maTO - your the first person i've seen to do a TAS of wonderboy 5 and i'm so glad i went to your site. my fav game on genesis just got better. will watch this tomorrow too

wonder boy 5 ftw. rough guess is that it would take around.... hm... 1 - 2 hours give or take? its a longish game but im sure that wouldn't stop anyone doing it since the longer games are getting run now. (if secret of evermore can be done in 2 hours this sure as hell can). oh and why has no one tried earthworm jim 2 for a run?

oooo how i have waited for a run of this. watching it now and so far so good. unless something ghastly happens looks like it'll be getting a yes from me too EDIT - 3 questions so far... 1.) what does all the trading in the market accomplish? what do you get as a result of all that annoying noise? 2.) why do you run into the empty courtyard before going to the 2 guards? 3.) crits for 999+ how you able to do that at such a low level?

huzzah for the magic config! watching it now, will update with my vote EDIT - i got side tracked and ended up somehow making an animated gif avatar lol. however i got about 13 min into it and it looked damn good. toki is slower than a turtle through molasses (spelling?) but it was fun to watch. also, i was really freaked out by the swimming stage. toki just looks to... slimy and gooey to me. loved the music though two thumbs up for an incredibly impossible game played well.
