yet another exellent movie :) i had no trouble sitting through this game as i remember hiring it out at the store only to have it lock soon as i entered the game so never actualy playing it made this movie even more enjoyable for me. i did'nt see any huge areas for improvement and any questions i had during the movie were answered within 5 min (just has the gold collection toward the end of the movie) so i'm voting yes. good work again

i have 1 question for you. you say you take damage to save time yet when you do get hit your health does'nt go down at all. what causes this?

here is a list of all my games i have music for (full, directly ripped soundtracks exactly as ingame). best place for any snes, genesis, nes, smes or other console soundtracks is www.zophar.net under the Game Music section on the right hand side. you need plugins for winamp/a program to listen to them but they are perfectly ripped albums. i think what happened was he was going to do a short martial arts demo of his "skills" for some reason and then he fell on his face. he prolly had his whole routene worked out in his head what he was going to do after the backflip. judging by the way he fell flat on his face, he prolly stunned himself yet still tried to keep going unconsiously. this can happen if you get stunned, its happened to me before. your thinking about 1 thing and then you get hit hard enough to make you black out for a sec, and your body keeps doing what it was for a sec before you actualy fall over/come to

eh. i read a few of these and not 1 made me laugh. the same goes for 8-bit theater. i've read nearly every one of their comics as i used to follow it and only 1 or 2 ever actualy made me chuckle much less laugh. http://www.penny-arcade.com is a much better strip, which is'nt always totaly on games. these guys have done some utter classics that have had me in fits for hours just thinking about them. i'll admit not ALL of them are funny, most will keep you laughing and amused for awhile if your bored or waiting for a download to finish. thanks to them i get a new wallpaper every 2 days ^^

yes boco is right. Final Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest is really the first Secret Of Mana, for some odd reason. Secret Of Mana (or Seiken Densetsu 2 in japanese) was the first game of the series that the US got. Seiken Densetsu 3 was never released outside of japan (huuuuuuuge mistake by square) so no one was ever able to play it till some people translated it and it became Secret Of Mana 2 for the US. Legend Of Mana then followed (who some people discribe as very disapointing where i thought it was great) and finaly Sword Of Mana which i never played much oh. i think they should remake SOM for the ps2 but with much updated graphics (a style as show in the new zelda game, that 4 swords adventure one) and spell effects and if possibly create a huge new storyline about what happened after the mana beast was distroyed. perhaps someone who wishes to try and resurrect the monster? also about your problem 12, i never ran Seiken Densetsu 3 on any emulator besides Zsnes so it never worked fine for me. this sounds like an emulator problem to me. if you dont want to try switching, perhaps choose another mode besides smooth (if there is one)

it depends what type of games you like that are 2 player. heres a very short list of games that are always fun for 2 people. ------------- SNES ------------- Secret Of Mana (rpg, in fact up to 3 ppl can play this at once) Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret Of Mana 2 in english, RPG) Mortal Kombat 2 (cmon admit it, you love it. fighting) Super Bomberman 1 right up to 6 or whatever the last one was lol. (puzzle/fighting/action i guess) Super Mario Kart (racing. what can be said about this except classic) ------------------ Genesis ------------------ Altered Beast (adventure/action i guess, old but still fun) Toejam & Earl (puzzle?) Road Rash 1 and 2 (racing. VERY fun game that surprisingly hasnt been time attacked yet... *hint hint*) Sonic 2 (action/adventure, this had a 2 player racing mode did'nt it?) Streets Of Rage 1 - 3 (fighting. still fun) Golden Axe 1 - 3 (fighting)

desynched for me aroudn Lv 3 just as you were passing that axe flipping back and forth. all in all i thought this was a pretty good attempt. i have 1 little question though. i noticed right away that you pass through monsters without getting hurt. i'm not sure what the deal is with this but it made the movie seem as if you had a invincibility cheat on. care to explain? (never even heard of this game before tonight, much less played it so cut me a little slack on this if its an easy answer) besides that, up to level 3 i thought you did quite well. the movement was smooth, fight scenes went quite well, i'm sure it could be improved but up to what i saw it was good standard to base another run on. however due to the fact that it desyncs i cant vote yes as i have yet to see the last parts. sorry about that

for a 100% run, every item must be collected (when it comes to mega man games) including all upgrades, health containers and such, even secret capsules. besides, a non 100% run would'nt be that much faster if at all. defeating the final bosses without the dragon punch would add as much time as all the speaking and collection of items. so 100% run or not, this is without a doubt a good time to beat.

wow. i dont know what to say about this run. i'm only up to morph moth stage and already i love this run. every one of your rerecords are worth it. this movie is stunning so far. your climb of the lava raising floor in flame stag was amazing as was your item collection in wheel gator. if this run gets rejected for any reason other than a faster, more improved version has been submitted then there is some serious issues. damn fine work and keep it up ^^ hope to see more of your work blechy EDIT - just finished the movie and for once.... someone has done a 100% run that actualy IS 100% as you got the secret dragon punch capsule. i never knew it did that much damage! wow you totaly ripped through the last bosses. in fact you did it so fast i think a non 100% run would be very close to your time if not longer due to the fact that on the last boss run you spend on average 2 seconds fighitng them each. lol like to see what a non 100% run time would be

yes it was. i dont know where the name comes from, but its apparantly the spear that stabbed jesus's side or something like that. whoever wields it is supposed to be given power. something along those lines.

far as i know spear of destiny was really wolfenstein 3d 2. it was a stand alone game not a mission pack or expansion pack. as for mission packs, they are really just expansion packs without the added storyline. you still need the full game, it still adds new weapons/monsters/levels so to me that is an expansion pack. an exp pack for doom 3 would still kick ass

i know wolfenstein had no expansion pack. thats why i said, since quake onward. quake 1 - scourge of armagon and dissoloutions of eternity quake 2 - ground zero and the reckoning quake 3 - team arena, yes this does count as an official expansion pack. return to castle wolfenstein - i'd call this a partial expansion pack. it was cancel half way through production and turned into a free download. so yes, every game since quake has had an expansion pack or 2

no offence to the person who did this run, but i found so unbelieveably boring. its not your fault, its just a bad game IMO. after the first 5 levels i could'nt stand it anymore and i had to quit the movie.

your prolly right about there not being an expansion pack for doom 3 but then again nearly every single ID game has had an expansion pack since quake onward, so it might happen. also i'm sure ID could come up with some way for the deamons to reopen the portal of hell, only this time invading earth. if betruger could open the portal of hell (it WAS him who started all this was'nt it? i hav'nt finished it just yet so i dont know how it ends) whos to say that someone else could'nt reopen the portal? how about this storyline to keep the doom saga going? 5 - 10 years after the incident, the UAC are still doing research on teleporting on mars and have almost got it working. the old base has been rebuilt partialy (thus giving new areas) and is functioning as normal again. the UAC has also expanded their research into how the 2 invasions have happened, and what exactly caused them. your now head of security/in charge of the base. you get called down to the teleporter room to see a new test (say for arguements sake, a dead deamon's body being teleported through to the next room). the test goes ahead and half way through, hell decides it does'nt like people playing with its spawn and overcharges the teleporter, the gate reopens/causes the teleporter to act as a new hell portal and sucks the whole planet through. you have to try and get back to earth. that story works for me. this way the spidermind and all the missing monsters could be introducted along with some new ones, some new weapons could be added too. and yes, killing the spidermind was supposed to halt the invasion of earth and yet in doom 2 the invasion still happened. this shows that doom does'nt really have to follow the storyline set in the previous game. hey also something that bugged the hell out of me, (this is totaly off track lol) what was the monster that you fought in that cave, that big spider looking thing?. this really looked like a Vore to me from quake. perhaps a little easter egg without totaly being obvious?

like the 2 headed imps with no fireball attack, the teleporting blades for arms bastard who always sneaks up behind you, spiders, those annoying as hell baby/fly/mosquito things, riot shield + pistol zombie. i expect there to be a expansion pack for doom 3 that adds the double barrel shotgun, a few new weapons and all the above monsters that were'nt in and some new ones. perhaps retelling the doom 2 story when the invasion hit earth? i think this would be great, specialy with this new engine. i would love to see a huge city doom 3 style.

i liked this run. i remember this game damn well and all the hours i spent on this and its sega master system counter-part. this is a great relaxer movie ^^. only thin though, all the jumping gets annoying after awhile, but you can deal with it.
