No one has viewed this topic yet. Not even a bad comment here! Then I guess I take that as a "no" like in "no it wasn't a good game choice Diman". Ok, then I cancel all my plans to make a TAS of this unpopular game. ; P

I have done two gradius movies already and I have decided to make a third one. The first movie a did got bad critique and the second one was now rejected ; (. So I would really appreciate if some people or someone could put me in the right direction. First of all: Who think this is a good game choice? short WIP: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1244/Diman

Ok man, it was just a proposition how we could do if I am your sidekick. I think I continue your TAS instead of fixing it. You really played it good so I don't know if I could do that better. Here is a continuation of your movie AnS: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1250/Dimans-continuation.fcm I wanna know if ya think its perfect or not until the playback is stopped...

Even when glitch can't be abused to save time, it's still very interesting, thanks for sharing this!
Its cool, I never thought someone wanted to see that "spintrick". "but you should try to beat these levels faster than me. Or am I gonna do everything myself? :-?" Nah, I really want to help you but I just don't know how. You seem to be better than me in everything in this game so...: P But I have an idea: How about I do help you in the game like you wrote, and if I happen to make a mistake you can fix that with a hexeditor? Because you seem to know much about that...; )

Really? well okey I also think folks should be happy and really thank the judges who accept their movies. All though it would be the best day in my life if it would get in the list of best movies, but that doesn't mean that I would be disappointed over my self if it end on the movie page.

I personally don't want currently published run to be removed...
No I don't think it should be removed either. My movie doesn't even have to be in the list for best movies! I would be happy if the movie gets in at all!

Thanks for the yes votes and your opinions! Now I know what you guys like about this movie and don't like! I will make a gradius TAS in the future but I won't cancel this submission. I want to see where it goes.

That game was sweet! What I liked about the game was that it was not only skating in it-it was violence as well! I liked the TAS. Vote yes!

I want to show you how you can be faster by killing the mini-boss. And then I'm showing how you can run backwards during the waiting time for the real boss to appear. I haven't play the first stage yet so someone can continue this TAS. I want a sidekick to help me with this second projekt I have! ; ) http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1231/Journey%20to%20Silius.fcm

If you don't want to continue your Rockin' Kats, you could try to improve one of currently published (and at least somewhat appreciated — say, have a rating of 6.0 and higher) movies.
Yeah man I could do that. Maybe its better to stick with one game after all.... But its difficult to not play some other games, its a big temptation.

Diman seems to have a talent for picking games that don't make interesting runs...
Yeah but unfortunately this "talent" don't help me too much. Isn't there anyone who like this game? If not so I want to make a Toki TAS. I know I should stick with one game like the rockin' kats movie I'm workin' with, but who say that I'm not can work with other games? I will soon make a topic about Toki. Want to beat this record: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1765

Awesome work AnS! I've also found a "spin"-glitch on my own. Its on the first channel at the end on the train, if ya do it right you should be able to spin in the air, unfortunately there is no need to do this glitch because you don't go through the wall..I just wanted you to know about this...But it would be awesome if you could just skip a few levels with that glitch if you found a new place to do that. By the way how is it going with your continuation on your current recording? http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1227/Rockin%27%20Kats%20%28U%29%20%5B%21%5D.fcm

That non tool-asisted video of slalom was cool! I think a TAS of this game can be cool if someone play all mountains.

"In Popeye, you just wait until Olive has thrown all his thingies" Thats why I'm foolin' around in the game. Punch Bluto, use glitches, punching skulls and "tease" the skulls-everything to make the movie less boring. But I respect your opinion, cause I can understand its strenuous for people to see a TAS of a game they absolutely don't like.
personally, i feel that this should be at least accepted.
Awesome! Is there someone else who think this game should be accepted? ; )

To the Judges: personally, i feel that this should be at least accepted.
Amen to that! I really agree with you Vatchern. And its cool with at least one on my side-thanks to that! And I think its really sad that people voting "no" because the game is bad. Two good examples for this is, Phil's NES Donkey Kong in 01:18 and, Ferret Warlord's NES Donkey Kong Jr. in 01:13. They both play their games fantastic but is their choices of games good? Personally, I watch their movies cause the gameplay and not for their games. Think of that please before you vote. ; )

>I noticed that you still refuse to fight bosses with memory watcher I would do that if I had a clue how to use it. And you are really kind that you want to continue your current recording and fix this TAS! I thought I fought the boss perfect. = ( I wish I was better to use tools.= /

Yeah, Guybrush, I know that. I'm trying to fix the TAS as fast as I can. I'm trying to make the TAS perfect. And when I say 'perfect' I really mean it. I'm posting WIPs as soon as I'm done with one. And then I'm waiting for feedback from the comments I watch on the forum. You can join the discussion if you like: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3662&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=20

Really sloppy doesn't sound good enough to me.
No I agree with you. It seems that no one want to help me anymore but I am happy that ANS helped me at the beginning. Here is a new WIP: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1206/Rockin%27_Kats-tmp.fcm It also appears that many people are longing for this TAS but if I get help from many people out here the TAS get finished very very much faster. = )
