What about using smooth weapon animations for PrBoom+? It gives more sense to upload videos in 60 fps. https://mega.nz/#!LVgn3BZL!ScrZOVt2NuD318sTYdRwqTetqLC7xirrrUWvtx7O8kM

Yeah, Vita's Evilution run is enough optimized IMO.

2 months... for saving 1.77 secs (9,97 vs 11,74 in the previous submission)! You're a real perfectionist, man!

Wonderful TAS! I was following your WIPs, by the way. Though it's not exactly what I expected to see, but Box Glitch run still deserves attention, applause and my Yes vote!

I began practicing Autodesk AutoCAD recently, so I have no idea of how difficult is all that... yet. Project is interesting though I've never seen and played Perfect Dark and don't know how much he stays advanced for the present. All I can do is to wish you luck))

You're speeding up the audio in a way that preserves the pitch. You need a way that doesn't preserve the pitch. I've never used Sony Vegas, but to use Audacity as an example, Effect > Change Tempo will preserve the pitch and Effect > Change Speed won't preserve it.
Wonderful! It works!

Here is how it sounds: https://youtu.be/4xUvdYl-Htc EDIT: the problem is solved! Video tag is removed to free some space.

What's probably simpler is speeding up the audio by 50% (without pitch preservation). What did you mean by voices being "smashed" when you tried speeding the audio up in Sony Vegas?
If I speed up the audio, voices stay slowed down, but play at time (I can't discribe it in english). I'll attempt to upload them.

I have no idea of how to do that! Should I convert the audio? Changing audio backend doesn't help!

I have dumped frames and audio, but audio appeared to be slowed down. Video's length is 15:32 and audio's is 23:19. If I speed up the audio using Sony Vegas Pro 13 (for example), all the voices in audio will be smashed. How to fix it? I don't face this problem when dumping Wii games. Emulator: Dolphin 4.0-9390. Game: TMNT Mutant Melee (GC)

Episode 3 is the most difficult in technical terms, IMO.

Спасибо за статьи! Они очень помогут тем немногим, которые когда-нибудь заинтересуются тасингом. Особенно учитывая то, что русскоязычных тасеров можно по пальцам пересчитать.

Your file is blocked. I have doubt that your route is optimal. You could bypass some enemies without losing time. In act 1 the fastest route is going up after planting the last bomb. In act 2 you've lost much time on killing mad-murderer since he takes 2 shots to die. Melee attack is the fastest way. Killing a proto army is a waste of time, you could just bypass him. In act 3 grabbing ammo is a waste of time. Anyway, I don't contact with Bizhawk, so you can consider me an outsider. I was glad to help you!

Firstly, your TAS should be faster than mine. Else, you'll have to redo your WIP.

1st level is done! Stage 1 Act 1 is done in 00:18.20 secs if we count frame 262 as beginning of the act and 1354 - as ending. Speedrun's time is 22 secs (±). Link to video

Machine gun shooting anmation - takes 11-19 frames. Melee attack animation takes 8-15 frames. Looks like the game has it's own in-game lagging which is not shown by the emulator (I use Gens 11a). I have no other reason that in different cases it takes different amount of time.
This lag is a big problem, to reduce him, I think we need to have the less possible amount of enemys shown.
No, I got a 19-frame shooting animation while there were only 3 enemies on the screen. Maybe it's better to do a point blank rather than shoot at the first possible frame.

I'm also making a WIP. I'll send it when I finish. And I have figured out what's the trick)) I've chosen Hard difficulty and 20 M.Gun ammo (default amount of ammo).
