6 No 6 Yes 6 Meh 6 * 6 * 6 = 216 2 + 1 + 6 = 9 3 Numbers 9/3 = 3 HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED!!! Also number of the beast. Last time I looked into this game I was sick of it real quickly... did not want to check optimizations as soon as I got to the second door in the game.
Looking forward to it too! About 3, my next project is Robocop 3 for Genesis. Topic will be today.

This looks like a generic Genesis first-person shooter. It just has Duke Nukem 3D graphics and sound. It seems like a game mod. I watched the run only partially. It looks okay, occasionally. But. Most of the time it is difficult to say whether the run quality is good or not, because the game quality is bad. I don't really know what to vote. Meh, I guess.
Seems like it was an experimental port as it was released only in Brazil! Yes, the game quality is bad and I won't work on such projects, because they are negatively valued by society!

I am not talking about anything but the way you enter those two doors and press the elevator button. One way is obviously slower than the other. Maybe you should explain in your own language (or someone translate this to it).
If I press the button in the fastest time, I should lose it to stay undamaged! But honestly, I was very lucky that this defect was neutralized by game, because that's my fault that I pressed the button late!

I lose some time (5-6 frames) to prevent enemy(-ies) from damaging me! As you see, I've planned all the route using my old TAS and got 1 HP by the end of the game. Of course, if I lose more time, I had to take damage.
There are no enemies damaging you at that part. You are idling next to a door.
I don't mean at that part. I mean during all the map after pressing that button.

It looks to me that you're constantly bumping the wall well before the corner and slide along it until the wall ends, instead of aiming for the corner in the first place. Is it not true? Please explain how movement works in this game.
As I told earlier, the game has horrible control! I have not many variants for input because the game spends 5-7 frames on rendering and gives a frame for next action and, as a result, Duke's teleporting on the short distances (maybe you know this, just for notice). After strafing (also included in my movement) Duke turns on ~24˚ degrees per 1 action frame and loses 1/2 extra speed gained by strafing if I release B. He doesn't lose speed if he goes along the wall, looking towards it. 24˚ degree is too big to runstrafe exactly to the end of the wall and I was sliding along the it to control the turning and bypass "unnecessary teleportations" when the sliding the next wall is the fastest way! Anyway, not sliding the walls is almost impossible with that control, but developers made it smooth. :-)

Too easy game for TASing! Typing right answers in the fastest time is not entertaining or challenging! No vote even for Vault!

Hah! ...because I took damage once more during this map (yes, it was the button)! Another AI manipulation and I got 0 frames improved. I hate the mechanics of this game! ZT was much easier!

Yes, if the fastest movement was just running like in Zero Tolerance, it would look like much better! Btw, did you vote Yes in my old run? You can see all the route there :-)

In terms of your TAS's being accepted: Twice In terms of those that have been rejected in the end: Twice Also this one. That's Five of Seven. Worms I didn't provide a file. Only told you off and showed a video difference. Doom 64 I didn't look into because I don't like mupen. Ah... Meh Vote too.
Worms was my affect submission, just didn't cancel it. You suggested to end the input earlier in Doom 64, but it was slow at the beginning too. This time everything will be OK!

Skipped to a middle part. At ~10:25, you're waiting for the elevator to open, then back in, then turn to press the button. ~30 seconds later with a similar situation, you strafe in so the button's immediately in front of you. Am I missing something here?
Thank you, but it doesn't affect the time because in the first case I entered in in the first possible moment and in the second I was walking next to the door because of strafing, but gained more speed . But the distance to the switch is enough small, so it doesn't matter though I'll check it for the improvement!

Oh, thanks! Seems like input is my disadvantage. How many times did you fix my input? 7 times?? I'll write it in my signature!

Dimon, the TASVideos Pro thing was actually a gag that occurred during April 1st on here (a holiday where people play practical jokes). It wasn't a serious plan.
I know! I wrote about this as an example of earning money for TASing though it was a joke. You probably think I'm registered there for earning, but No! It's just my hobby.

I was watching this site by the start of 2014 and noticed that TASVideos going Pro: a way to increase betted money for a star (I think it's close to star) movie, but I don't know how much people would become members and would they watch as incredible movies as they expect! I'm not an experienced TASer yet, but I can't TASing games more than 4 hours a day because it strongly affects the psyche and becomes very tedious hobby. solarplex is right! There are only 500-800 users of 6 or 7 thousand which are active today and most of them make TASes just for fun, and Webnation's (~50000) and TASVideosChannel's (~18000) subscribers are 95% out audience!

Seems like there is no warp tree and warp tunnel to 8th world on 4-2. I expected that the music and sound effects were almost the same as on SNES, but it doesn't stop my Yes vote!

PCSX2 still doesn't support lots of games; it desyncs all the time; it is not comfortable for TASing and it has its own rules for it, such as unskipping dialogs and scenes! I'm sorry for moderators which will stop the whine on our forum!

Honestly, I don't fully understand the meaning of this topic, although I have read it several times. Let's not go into such terms, because "determinism" has lots of meaning! What about desyncing: let's discuss! Desync usually happens when: 1. Emulator wrongly reads the input. Universal ROMs can be read by countries with different FPS (PAL and NTSC). If TAS was recorded on 60 FPS, it will desync on 50. Obviously! 2. Emulator wrongly writes the input. TASVideos won't accept the emulator that does this! A great example is PCSX2-rr! Obviously! 3. The game itself causes desyncs. Bullshit! But I heard that lots of games aren't well emulated with Mupen 64 in my rejected Doom 64 discussion topic. Now we have Bizhawk which is now preferred for TASing N64, right? 4. A wrong input or useless frames were made in TAS Editor. Obviously! I don't know what seems to be the problem! All emulators work well. I think we just need to finalize some emulators for a comfortable TASing.

Nice WIP! I don't think it will be so entertaining to watch full movie, but it's a nice game choice! I had an idea to test this game in 2015, but you decreased my wishlist :-) Read also this: http://www.gamefaqs.com/gba/919070-max-payne/cheats

Second map is ready! It was more difficult than I expected: I did about 5 AI manipulation to keep my health in normal condition because I didn't take the medkit! Also I changed my route a little. I have already improved 01:01.50 comparing to my old TAS! All comments will be written in my submission! This is my last WIP. Next WIPs will be encoded and posted in WIP thread!

I think Hourglass just can't render 3D and it can't open the game with the size higher than 1 GB. At least, I tried lots games supporting mouse because I have a giant PC wishlist, but no-one work! There are not much games which operate with hourglass, but if you have the wish to TAS working games, install XP. The main advantage of recording on XP is that it can play most games without multithreading so the game won't crash if you load the state some times, but I can't warrant this!
