I'd like to report a bug, but I think the same problem is happening to most games! What is the main problem with emulating SEGA Saturn games and are you going to do sth with it? P.S: bug is here (if interesting): http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15183

Nice game and nice run! This game reminds me of James Bond: The Duel which has similar gameplay (excepting objectives). I vote Yes!

Why? Too lazy to make a savestate? You can pause the emulation, make a savestate and continue playing! Load option is already imported. If you're TASing a game, autosave can be done when you're already failed it or a long time before! Are you making quicksaves or save the progress as different file and then loading it "by hand"?

Long speedrun! The final TAS time will be ~ 2 hours. Who has strong PC and nervous - come on!

To those who are saying all Zapper games are boring: A game that only uses the Zapper is generally boring. However, there have been good games that have mixed in some shooting parts with other modes of play, and sometimes those shooting parts have been entertaining. (One good example is Vice: Project Doom, and another example is Bayou Billy. They didn't use the Zapper, but I imagine they could have.)
That's right! All games which contain different modes of play, like FPS and side-scroller, don't support zapper, so all zapper games are boring!

If the game is as bad as you're saying maybe you could choose a more entertaining game for demonstrating the zapper support, unless there isn't other viable option.
In my mind it's absolutely unnecessary to TAS zapper games because they are not funny at all! I remember Randil's TAS on Duck Hunt which was the funniest of all zapper games (I think), but it's still boring.

Second controller was broken so I don't remember if we could play together. ? - not sure It's a shooter/beat'em up/adventure with top view. At the beginning you can choose 1 of 4 (or 3 at least) men with 3 different characteristics: health (green), power (red) and ?sth? (blue). The main hero walks in levels like in Rambo 3 and beats enemies, he can find ?boxes? with weapons like bazooka or machine gun or take them from ?enemies?, can beat enemies with them if ammo ended. The storyline contains objective: save birds (probably eagles)! I looked for similar descriptions and screenshots on some sites containing enough big list of games, but still not found.
Maybe it's this game? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Growl_(video_game) It was an arcade game but got a genesis port, the plot was that you're rangers rescuing animals from poachers, you can use rocket launchers and whips and it's a beat'em'up. And this sounds like your description of the character select: 'The player begins the game by choosing from one of four different forest rangers, each with a different amount of health, attack strength, and jumping height.'
Yeah! That's it! Thanks!

Nothing is :-S It's a modern game (story happens in 1960-2000) and has no fantasy or unreal things! Thanks anyway!

Hah! I've never played Tekken on PS and didn't burn ISOs to play it on PS2, but I think it's a good choicd for TASing! Also I made a fun TAS on unlicensed Tekken 2 for NES: http://youtu.be/H6ErW3xkESU I used different tactics to make it more entertaining (read the movie description). If you find this game entertaining, you can make better run. Good luck!

All games on Source engine (CS:S; CS:GO; L4Dead 1,2; Portal 1,2; HL2 series exactly) can easily be speedrunned using in-game slow motion command host_timescale 1.0, where 1.0 is 100% speed; and recording and then playing in-game movie so I'm not surprised the WR is finally done! Nice run though!

Let's take this topic from the unreading pit! About Doom: I think SNES version is not the best port choice because of low fps and bad graphics. In my opinion, if we take all aspects, the best console port choice is PSX. Saturn is also good: its medium fps is compensated with increased rapid-firing which so helpful in 100% runs. I don't know what objective is the best in Doom runs and what chance to take a rejection because of the bad port choice (answer if the chance is high!), but I think it should be any% for every port (32X is small and 100% will be also interesting to watch). The difficulty should be UV for SNES and 32X because of the monsters's aggression and Nightmare for PSX and 32X (only for 100%). Is it correct? P.S: Bizhawk is not enough fixed to emulate Saturn's Doom. Reason is here: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15183 With Wolfenstein everything is better! I think any port will be interresting, but the best is DOS of course, with no SNES's rocket launcher :-) The objective is better any% because almost all floors are maze-like and it's difficult to get the best route for 100%!

My Dolphin goes on 2 frames, but I think my movies won't cause desyncs. I remember when I tried to make sth in Resident Evil 4, frame advance went on 5 frames, but only once! Dolphin 4.0.2 32bit (stable versi0n).

Well, normal flow is that there is a 'Reply' link below the comment, you click it, type in the box, click 'Post' and it works. What part doesn't work for you and what happens instead?
I can't comment the video using my tablet and my PC is not with me now. I can only complain. Anyway I've written back on users's channels.

Hah, I tried to do that, but he just can't disappear because he is the last enemy in the cycle of the mission and disappearing trick doesn't work in that case! At least I made about 40 jumps, all to no avail. Even Aqfaq didn't do that in his test run!

With so much enemy manipulation, It's hard to believe that.
Yeah, I would like to have all thought about me that typical TASer with no games published made sth almost unbelievable, but I have to tell the truth! Knowing that elbow jab is the most powerful move (and the fastest way to kill bad guys) and having chances to equip with a whip, which is the most powerful weapon (excepting dynamite) gives you opportunity not to look for useful RAM adresses at all!

Well... I'll try to make an improvement on DD for Nintendo NES though it was the only DD for NES which I have never played in my childhood! Maybe this game wasn't actual for piracy in 90's. feos, what can you say about that?
