I'm OK now! I've already improved this run and will publish it today/tomorrow.

Dimon12321: I'll post here vice youtube's commentary. If/when you want to try Mercenaries I'd suggest Wesker in the Village. A perfect score in the fastest time (by frames, not game clock) should be an achievable ultimate goal. Perfect score would mean all enemies except Bella Sisters (chainsaw) killed during the bonus chests, giving 210400 points. There are 124 total enemies. Derek Taylor's 207100 (Wesker) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6_et1ydDb8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7-FpItfMN4 Wesker can't kill the Bella Sisters quickly, but can dispose of the Another option is Hunk, who can neckbreak the Bella Sisters, but relies heavily on slow acting grenades and weaker TMP for regular enemies: Village 207400 (Hunk): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3sSe7mhrD8 The Waterworld is a stage that may be similar to the Castle in that a perfect score may not be achievable, so I'd consider time less of a priority. Wesker is the best choice in this stage.
OK, we're on the place! I have some questions and I know the answers, but I'm not sure: 1. Is it faster to destroy both doors (first entered and second entered) in a single Killer7 aiming? 2. The run looks tool-assisted because all his shots hit the target, he throws granades in all directions and kills enemies, but he takes damage, "lose" time and shoots in chainsawers not in the head when he has ability to do that. My route should be almost the same, right? 3. The main plan is: 1) To take timers and magnum ammo following the route while "collecting" enemies... - Can I take a 1,5 min time at the beginning?? 2) Then go into the biggest house and collect 2 granades (some enemies spawn after I enter the 2nd floor) and go to the barn with a timer and a chest, run around it to make a crowd... - Should I do the same!?? 3) Then take magnum ammo and then enter the next house and take another magnum ammo.... - I'm not sure that enemies spawn that 2 places, but can I take only one ammo? 4) Enter the barn, take the timer, climb up, wait until the crowd comes, take an hourglass and then kill them all... - Can I take an hourglass right off the bat after I climb up, kill the crowd and kill everyone who have not entered the barn? I think that will be my first WIP. I'll upload it tommorom. Everything is correct? P.S: I use Memory Card which Fog sent to your Castle submission: https://www.dropbox.com/s/iolqky18f648a73/MemoryCardA.USA.raw.zip

How important is it to use this version for people who have 32-bit Windows? P.S: What features has 64-bit Dolphin? How much memory it takes? Why do 2 GB (I personally have 3,28 GB) can't cope its full workability?

Note, that x32 is another architecture than simply 32-bit (commonly called i686 or x86), so it's better to just call it 32-bit. (64-bit is often called amd64 or x86_64)

When quoting error messages, remember to quote them exactly, word by word (with the exception of abbreviation or substitution of paths or the like).
I can write on russion word by word =) "Версия этого файла несовместима с используемой версией Windows. С помощью сведений о системе определите необходимую версию программы (32- или 64- разрядную) и обратитесь к издателю программного обеспечения." Translating on english: "Version of this file is incompatible with usable version of Windows. Using the system information determine the correct version (32 - bit or 64 - bit), and then contact the software publisher."

Oh crap, I didn't notice that when I was watching. Okay, at frame 16534 is where the final input (A) should be. To whoever is going to switch the files. DO NOT SWITCH THE FILES! I notice you cannot get to 16534 with your input so when you hit the final boss the last time just continue moving left don't add an up or down to it, your position is fine to begin with and the enemy won't attack. Then you should be able to hit your button to get the "May you live happily forever", you can insert your initials before the "AAA" shows up.
If I go left after the final hit, the survived guy hits me and I fall down (the final input is at ~16630). I went 1 frame up and 1 frame down, but the final input is the same - 16538! I don't know what I have to do! I think it's OK! My city (Lugansk, Ukraine) is going to be subjected to bombardment next week! I must run away from the city anyway, so I won't have internet connection! If I need to edit my movie, delay my submission, please!

I'm not going to go far with this but it looks okay* for a single player TAS. I am not checking your starting input this time. Maybe later but... You have 467 maybe more unnecessary frames at the end (~00:07.78 seconds lost). Correct your ending input and post it to the WIP section then post it here to be replaced. I will write this, a 2 player TAS can go along side with this. We have a few arcade style (or arcade to begin with) which uses all players or just the single. Refraining from voting until a replacement is made. *If it isn't okay, I apologize because I'm still up for some reason so at the current time of watching it looks fine.... Night.
Input at the beginning is the fastest! I expected that I needed to include the ending! If I'm wrong, why you didn't told me about that in my previous TASes? Correct me if I am wrong but would using the elbow save more time? I don't know the damage output of the elbow vs a bat difference would be or frames lost or saved for elbow attack vs using the bat. Reason why I am asking is elbow, elbow, elbow is how I beat this game on my Genesis growing up. Again, sorry if I am wrong in asking, I am just curious.
Elbow is a little weaker and has low range. Do you remember how to do it? Left/Right +BC =)

Emulation of PS2 is so pure! It's not sync-stable and many games are glitching or crashing :’-( I don't even guess how koeprogenitor1 TASed PS2 games! If the game crashes, we have no ability to fix it. Try to TAS it on GC or WII (emulator works better). What about pcsx2-rr: first of all, you shouldn't use any speed hacks. Your framerate should be from 10 to 15 in the limited mode (in CPU option) for a sync-stable run. After you pass 1 level or mission, play you movie and check you progress. If desync happens, you have to repass only 1 mission.

Dahm it! Just a law of meanness! I've done a TAS on a simple GC game, made everything what guide says, but it just can dump frames to AVI (error)! Why not just make a hot key for this, like on horrible PCSX2-rr (at least dump with errors)? How can I record the movie for myself, not for publishing (I hope sth will be soon)? Sorry if sth wrong!
What error message do you get? Just a crash? Make sure this is true for you, if Dolphin crashed:
Should the emulator crash at this point examine the User\Dump\ directory of your Dolphin installation ($HOME/.dolphin-emu/GC on Linux) and create the folders Audio and Frames if either of those are missing.
I have an error massage: "Error dumping frames to AVI." It appears every time before sth appears on the screen (loading...; no memory card inserted; developer's splash screens)! In my documents there is a folder Dolphin Emulator with all needed folders inside. It actually dumps audio in .wav format and I can listen to it after I stop the emulation. I downloaded Dolphin 3.5 and did the same as guide says, but after I play recording, it gives me an error: "Failed to load DSP ROM. This file is required to use DSP LEE" and etc. I copied dsp_rom and dsp_coef from Dolphin which I used to make the run (4.0.2), after that it writes me that cache in copied files is wrong and recorded sound will be smashed! I preesed No anyway because it doesn't solute the problem by clicking Yes. Then it asks me which codec I want to record. The video records, but it causes desync in the run: sth like emulator skips some dozens of frames at the beginning or loads the game longer. I'm not sure the movie will play right if I get the right dsp files for 3.5. Maybe A/V sync for 4.0.2 x32 will fix the error with dumping frames? Help me, please!

Dolphin with GCpad is quite sync-stable, but not absolutely stable. Also, the movement seems odd. You measured that is the fastest movement method?
I will improve this stage, of course! I think jumping will be faster if I make the second jump before I land. Also I'll try 1-frame presses in menu input.

Sounds similar to my case. It just refused to do it no matter what I tweak. Maybe software/hardware/drivers are involved.
Maybe because of containing russian not english letters in the derectory!? Some software can require this!
