It would be more entertaining if after beating world 8 in SMB, Mario went straight to world -1.

You don't waste your life if you find the path of God, and the age at which you find it doesn't matter, the prize is the same for everyone at the end.

YES! YES! YES! I've spent far more time playing this game than the original Rondo of Blood, due in part to my näiveness and lack of knowledge of japanese. :-P

I just dreamt that one of you guys in Tasvideos had put on top of my library the switch of the emergency generator of the USS Titanic, and that I had to keep it because it was such an important piece of history. In my dream, I had never noticed it in all these years and I found it during house-cleaning.

I wasn't talking about the quality of the TASer, but at the perceived quality of the player in the movie. Getting stumbled by suitcases and other things doesn't look superhuman, rather the contrary. It felt clumsy.

Didn't like it. It also looks like it's done by a bad player. Voting no.

I think arcade TASes should use at most a single credit per player, and new players cannot join in the middle of the game. That's the rule that makes the most sense, as that has been a well-known feat for ages.

I know the game is wonderful, but somehow I don't enjoy watching this TAS as much as I enjoyed other Castlevania TASes. I'll give it another try at some other moment.

Why are all the "A Link to the Past" Zelda games so broken?

If we ask the opinion of anybody submitting a run, that person will (almost) always say yes for their run to be published (with the exception being joke april fools submissions). Note also that most people will not watch an obsolete run, even if it remains on the site, the same way that most people don't watch movies devoured by Tasvideos grue, even if they are also available. It looks like the order in which you watch these videos has an impact in the perception of the quality of the movie, but watchers seem to think that the shorter one looks more like a TAS. Can someone provide more feedback?

There is a quote from Kristine Kathryn Rusch that might be interesting to post here:
Very few writers—I don’t care who they are—have the skills to both write a story and to revise it properly. Those are two different skills. Usually writers ruin their stories by revision—and I say that as a writer, a woman who has taught writing, and as an award-winning former editor. I can tell stories—and indeed I did at Chattacon last weekend—about writers who nearly lost their first story sale to me when I edited at The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction by their inability to take instruction, and revise only the small thing I asked them to revise.

Well, then I will vote no for this one because I enjoyed more the previous submission. This is just a matter of prefering classical greek art over hellenistic greek art as a showcase (that is, considering that too much detail distracts from the subject matter).

This version has more merit, but I kind of like the original pacing, as if you were an artist having to draw a cartoon for each one of a very long line of fans.

Great glitches, but seizure-inducing wobbling during most the wait times. Still voting yes.

It was well played and had some good moments, but didn't like the game choice, I wouldn't watch the video again.

I think the most remarkable NES runs last year were the Gimmick! and Mega Man runs, but I was also awaiting the Legend of Zelda improvement for a long time. I also vote for the Cheetahmen because I don't expect it to win.

I vote for International Super Star Soccer Deluxe, Road Runner Death Valley Rally, and Rockman & Forte. Pheew, I got tired of typing those longtastic game titles!
