No Sector 2
Oh, haha, well that was stupid. Fixed.

Yeah... I kinda gave up on my "planned" low% run after PJ started his.

I've never seen Zazabi waste less than 3 jumps, so I'm just assuming that's the minimum. Also, I've never seen him waste no jumps after one part has been blown away and never less than 2 wasted after two parts are blown away. btw, new WIP: http://dragonfangs.paragonsigma.com/DF-MetroidFusion0p.zip The zip contains a save file right at the start of sector 2, where we left of last time, I had to make a minor adjustment to the SRX part so any save you might've made yourself would just desync. The movie runs up to right after Zazabi. Though I'll probably remake that fight as I noticed after I was done that it was still way too boring.

I have to waste 14 frames to make the eye open as fast as possible, and I do this at the closest Adam conversation.

Oh I don't think there's any need to worry about that.

hmm, sorry man, didn't want to spoil the surprise and completely forgot to give credit. tdk was the one who found out about and informed me on the double shot on boss doors. And I both hate him and love him for it :P.

You mean jumping on crumble blocks?
No, the boss doors.

Okay, a certain ... thing, was found and I was pretty much forced to restart so I could incorporate it into the run. So I've redone almost everything I had so far and I'm now 200 frames faster than I was in my previous update. WIP: http://dragonfangs.paragonsigma.com/MetroidFusion0p.zip

The double shots on the Charge Beam Core-X saved about 300 frames. And I had one more missile to use against Arachnus. But at least 100+ frames were saved through tiny improvements here and there.

Counting from when the first crumble block starts to crumble to when the first block in the second set of crumble clocks starts to crumble, that's 2 frames faster than me, and I already admitted that I could've been 5 frames faster.

After missiles, at the first cumble blocks, wouldn't it be quicker to wall jump, or maybe you were going for luck manupultion
I think I tried that and came up with it being slower, though I can't really remember.
no, it's faster. 14 fames faster acctually
Then I have no idea how you walljump, I couldn't get it to even be as fast as my way, let alone faster. I however miss the tiny jump that should be done before all ledges, which would've saved about 5 frames there. But luck worked out in my favor with the eye, so those 5 frames probably would've gone to luck manipulation anyway, which is why I didn't bother to fix it.

i noticed you jumped in the save room after arachnus?
I spin after I start falling, it gives you a really tiny boost in horizontal movement, though I don't think it actually saved time there.
no, if you had kept holding A you would have kept jumping
... apparently I did, O_o. A pretty stupid mistake, but it only slows me down by 1 frame.

or anachnus shouldn't you fire your beam then spam it with missiles, saving 2 frames from cooldown time, i can understand the diaganal missile shots
Yeah I noticed that later, but by then I was too far ahead to redo everything for 2 frames.

Right, so the new and improved 0% is underway. I'm currently at the beginning of TRO and so far 513 frames (8.55 seconds) faster than Megafrost's run. WIP: http://dragonfangs.paragonsigma.com/MetroidFusion0p.zip Keep in mind that I'm working slowly, making sure I'm as fast as can be. And I keep finding other stuff to do. So don't expect very rapid updates.

no EDIT:Turns out it's when the eye "sees" you
Actually, it's both. The eye will never open until it "sees" you, when the eye "sees" you it will either open, or shoot depending on both the frame count when it sees you and the frame count it loaded. But enough about eyes. Now if I haven't turned blind recently this is the "Metroid Fusion 100%" topic, not the "Metroid Fusion any% hard" topic, no? Though I have no idea how strict people are about off-topicness here. And why are the quote tags being funky?
