The fog is also responsible for the effect that blurs the distant environment while underwater, but this is broken in Dolphin and simply blurs the whole screen (see example screenshot below). Underwater sections take up a significant portion of the TAS and so I feel it's overall better to have it disabled.
That's concerning. What are your settings? Perhaps there's something important I forgot to note in the submission text.
Edit: Spike managed to sync, so they're probably right about it being CPU dependent. Still unfortunate though.
