But taking the time to put in the name Bisqwit adds unnecessary seconds to the run, which is trying to be avoided.

No, because the stupid thing wouldn't accept either codeset whenever I tried to use pecedit to add them. Edit: Apparently the cheats had two numbers swapped. I got them working.

Those didn't work either, but with someone else's suggestion elsewhere, I just added the codes to the codelist file manually. Anyways, testing out the codes, I found the hard mode code to work, but the codes to stop levelling didn't.

I'm using epsxe with the pec plugin so that I can play some of my games using cheat codes.(I don't have a Gameshark, but wanted to do some game challenges that needed one) For now, I'm just trying to add the Hard Mode code and the codes that disable experience gain.(Final Fantasy Tactics, US version.) However, I get an error that says the opcodes are invalid, despite the fact that I am copy and pasting the codes, so they are obviously correct. I get something that says Invalid Gameshark opcode in <insert code here> Valid opcodes are: 80- 16 bit Constant Write 30- 8 bit constant write 10- 16 bit increment once 11- 16 bit decrement once 20- 8 bit increment once 21- 8 bit decrement plus 50- serial repeater D0- 16-bit if equal to D1- 16-bit if not equal to D2- 16-bit if less than D3- 16-bit if greater than E0- 8-bit if = E1- 8-bit if not = E2- 8-bit if < than E3- 8-bit if > than C0- 16-bit master code C1- activate on delay C2- Copy bytes(This opcode works for Gamesharks version 2.41 or higher.) Caetla Codes(90, B0 ...) are not supported, but can be converted into gameshark using CodeQuest.

I agree with Bag of Magic Food about a Kirby game.
