I’m also requesting that the names in the title be switched– I want to be named first, as I was the one who found and TAS’d the bunny glitch that made this improvement possible. I let MKDasher have his name first in the other submissions (even though that’s not alphabetical order so he didn’t have much of an excuse for it) because he did more work than me in those. But in this one I deserve to be named first.
I won't talk about the money stuff but you sound like an asshole here. TASing isn't about being the best one in the world, if you want all the rewards then re-do the whole TAS yourself. Anyway, really entertaining run. Loved the new glitches, and BiTS reminded me of some of the best TASes of the N64 version. Strong yes vote!

\o/ You've been teasing that run for so long, I'm really happy it's finally getting submitted!

This is a console-confirmation of a previous TAS with BizHawk.
This isn't a TAS though. It's just an RTA run on emulator.

It looks like there are several AI levels (you chose Novice here, I guess it's the lowest one), maybe a run with higher AI levels would be closer to your dream? :p I imagine it would be much harder to optimize though. Anyway, voted yes because it's fast, and it's quite funny to see the AI just giving up. But the "theorical" part is kinda poor here, it's a pity :/ The Monopoly run is much more interesting on this aspect, for example.

What do you mean? Over the DS game? They're totally different games, with different worlds, levels, power-ups and gameplay. Definitely worth publishing - as would be TASes of New Super Mario Bros. 2 or New Super Mario Bros U.

I have very little experience in TASing but this sounds really interesting! I started a few TASes and never got far into them, but I think a deadline like will motivate me :D I guess I'll just sign-up as an individual :)

Since this is no death mode, all that doesn't work here
I know‚ that's why I said "against skippable cutscenes" (unless it doesn't mean what I think it means :x). So it would be very useful but less entertaining? Yeah‚ I guess if you ended up skipping Veni Vedi Vici or stuff like that‚ the run wouldn't feel the same :p (though I love the 8 min TAS which abuses telejump)

Truly awesome run, crazily entertaining and fast-paced. This looks really well optimized too. Though, do you think telejump + save warps would have saved enough time to be worth it against skippable cutscenes? Has telejump 100% ever been routed?

So does this mean we could actually get an entertaining any% ABC run without all the star duping stuff? Or is there still some duping needed?

My guess is nobody knows about it except the TASers.

I don't really know the game but 1 sec loss per level sounds a lot to me‚ looks like it would add up to lose like 45s in the end.

Really, really wish someone would subtitle these. I want to hear reactions from real people, but I also want to understand them. That's why I love AGDQ.
It's not really live reactions, but commentary about the run.

DOSBox isn't a rerecordind emulator (I don't think it even have a slowdown function), so you should use another DOS emulator (JPC-RR I guess? I'm not an expert at all)

What's the problem with BizHawk? It's a better emulator anyway‚ with less desyncs than Mupen.

Wouldn't the best thing be to take the least time possible setting up Gohma's position? Like the fastest warp position to get that can make us get the warp

Does anyone have a list for the useful RAM addresses?(like angle, speed, etc) A .wch for BizHawk would be awesome but an adress list is enough :)
