Uh, false alarm, I was able to resync the run near perfectly to standard BSNES while also improving the pipe room. I've updated the submission file and text to account for this. Judgement may continue.

Did not realize that until now. Thanks for the info! I'll keep the current submission as-is for now, as it would be completely identical on v115 save for some extra manipulation needed (which would just be some wigglin' after checking the door several times, no time saved or lost outside of accuracy differences).
Now we just have to wait for the judgement to continue and hopefully getting it accepted[/quote]

I have just watched it. I wanted to vote yes, but unfornatuly I am voting no for three reasons : - You don't get all the emarald, so you get the bad ending. - You have use a zipping mechanic in the last battle. I was so pissed that I closed the emulator... This is the reason that demote my vote from a weak yes to a strong no. So my vote is a strong no. I will vote yes for a true "no zipping, true ending" run of sonic 1 This is a little sad because the run is pretty well made, but It is my opinion... so sorry.
1. I don't use zipping in the Final Zone, it's sprite ejection as explained in the submission text. 2. An all emerald run would be more boring in my oppinion, and such a run has already been rejected.
1) We have a different opinion here : zipping and sprite ejection are the same to me. 2) We have a different opinion here also : I consider that a game must be 100% completed. Everyone has their own opinion, this is just mine. In any case, the category is too personal (ed: arbitrary?) to be published, and the run doesn't achieve its goal anyway (because it uses zips), which is the main reason why I voted no. The fact that the emeralds are skipped is a comparatively minor issue (my vote would have been a weak "yes" if there had been no zips). Edit : Replaced french with Derakon's traduction of my post. Thanks to derakon.

I have a quick fix for lua.dll : compress and decompress it with upx 3.07 and the false alarm from avira is gone. @ Nach : some are compressed with upx, some are uncompressed, some are compressed with other exe compressor, some are compiled within the emulator they belong so they may be smaller if the proper option is set within the compiler

Nobody needs to change the save size. It was taken out on purpose. If it remained for french, then it was an oversight. If you disagree with me, then use the dev+ version of desmume at your own risk to break your save files.
Ok, I understand. I was always using french for desmume so I had no idea that this functionality was dropped on purpose. Thanks for the information.

I discssed this with nitsuja a while back and thought I should show you guys all something. Apparently, There is supossed to be a Save Type option above 3D Settings. However it doesnt appear to be there for me. This screenshot was taken with the latest release of desmume. Am I missing something here?
After testing it appears that the save type option is only available for french language (In french Save type is translated to "Média de sauvegarde" (But "Type de sauvegarde" is the literal translation) http://images.exostum.net/screenshots/desmume_0_9_7_no_save_type.png

Ok, I have a question : Do think getting the silver arrows and level 4 sword can gain sufficient time on the long terms. Does skipping the second and third light boss is legit for a full run ?

Things that I can remenber about this game : - Type : Plateform - Console : NES In fact this game remains in my memory because it was playable and finishable with the NTSC version (the energy meter was six) so the european editor decides that was way too easy and cut the energy metter in half but he forget to test the game. The final boss has un-dodgable attacks and can't be beaten. So this game can't be finished in the european version due to the european editor stupid mistake.
