I want to do a speed run of this and I found an amazing glitch that would let me beat the game probably within minutes, but it requires turning the power off to the NES. Is there a way to record using this glitch or not? basically what you do is create a ready made party, power off, create three characters by hand, and without actually selecting your party hitting continue. you end up with a fourth character with a random sprite who has every item in the game. only draw back is that the most powerful enemies in the game spawn immediately, but as long as I could steal a ship and hit the whirlpool I could buy all the stats I need instantly (the ghost has a ninja gaiden symbol's worth of gold???) and rush exodus. I dunno, give me some feedback.

I'm working on the perfect boss solution to the first level. I went allthe way up to the boss of level three but I went back because I know I can do the helicopter about a half second faster. This run is going to beat the old one man record btw.

wobbling and ridiculous rapid fire, I bet I can make it so that nothing is on the screen for more frames than the number of shots it takes to kill it (while looking like a blur of death) and it should look like an auto scroller

yeah the screen scrolls slower than you move, but that would give me extra time to do alot of showing off

I missed one powerup which I went back and got and I fired one additional shot against a turret, and I'm gonna record the boss frame by frame cause I fire a shitload of extra shots. Edit: level 1 complete up to boss, no misses till then, all power ups, 100% kills. if you notice anything wrong or anything that could be better please let me know

If anybody has played Gunforce you will remember this run-n-gun. It has a very odd scrolling system that scrolls the screen slowly as long as you are on the right 1/3 or 1/2 of the screen. My goal with this movie is to shoot for 100% kills no misses and fastest time possible. I'm not sure whether I'm going to do a 2 player run or a single player run, but I just wanted to ask everyone if they thought that this would be a good game to do a speed run in.

I'm messing with a new arrow configuration, I think arrows + alt and shift may fix it

I'm running into some issues when recording if I hold down too many (or certain combos of) buttons at a time. I'm wondering if this is a hardware or software issue. any clues?

Well, I'm not sure if this would need to beat Genisto's run, but you do have an extra player :) Don't you think it should?
of course :-) twice as fast right?

Looks good - but don't miss shots. I think a 2 player Super C would almost be as exciting as the original.
so wait, you want a two player no miss 100% kills Super C replay that beats the old record... do most people attempt something like this as their first movie? I think I need more fingers but I'll give it a go, this is going to take a long time...

ok the replay is screwed because its in PAL for some reason so I'm starting over (again). a 2 man speed run would be insane, I'll work on figuring out if I can handle it or will need assistance. Edit: first attempt at two man Super C (only a few seconds, but its promising)

This is my first attempt at a speed run, I still need to polish up the boss as I missed with several rounds, but all the same I think I did alright. This is the first level of Super C, the best game ever, tips, comments, please let me know, I'll update this frequently (unless I lose interest). I'm also working on a no upgrades, no misses run, but this is taking much longer than I expected so we'll see how that goes. don't click me.

I started working on making a naked run of Super C where I never miss a shot earlier. I've watched this site alot but never tried to participate in the past. I'm wondering how I can go back and continue a movie from the point where I stopped recording the last movie, or how to splice stuff together. A noob how to sticky would be great if anybody wants to bother.
