I shared it with IRC, so I guess I'll share it here too.

That's a fairly decent summation of the Other M debacle.

I've decided to join the madness. Many headaches were had trying to extract this, and I hope Youtube doesn't screw me over now.

Last night I ended up reading the latter half of this Let's Play Chrono Cross. Guess what flavor nearly all my dreams had last night? Eyup, last night was dominated by visions that were clearly insprired by Chrono Cross? Troubling thing, though? The dreams I had made sense. And it was long and truly epic. Unfortunately, I can't remember too much about it, but it was a good dream.

OLD FOGEY ALERT! Man, I remember when the original movie was first submitted. I wasn't even twenty years old yet, and now I'm halfway to thirty!

Listen, I know the game is glitched all to heck and back... But can we please put up a more cohesive screenshot? I tire of seeing screenshots that look like they were scribbled into Paint by a five year old.

Supply and demand. If there's enough demand, someone will supply. Demand, meet the supply.

I saw this on another forum. "...Rarity [is] an insufferable character type in any other cartoon, who manages here to be the closest thing we can get to a drag queen in a kids show. Somewhere there's a young queerling feeling empowered." Discuss.

Is there a setting somewhere that would prevent the game from writing anything to the hard drive? I've encountered at least one game that would require the movie maker to delete a file every time after playback to ensure synchronization. You can see how that would get tedious.

I don't know if it's relevant to your question, but I do remember reading on an Iwata Asks that Miyamoto and company decided to write the music for Super Mario Brothers as one of their first things to do so that they could develop around that. Apparently the dominant practice at the time was to implement sounds and music at the end of the development cycle, which meant that sound engines were limited because the CPU was already taken up doing other tasks.

All that graphical corruption going on... So distracting! Is that done intentionally, or is that a side effect of being as fast as possible?

Wait a second... In Latin, "JEHOVA" begins with an "I"!

Actually I was trying to head off pointless bickering by making an observation of internet culture because I've seen these things elevate to the point of incivility. Sorry if it came off as confrontational; was it the sick ferret?

Still less dangerous than most dogs.

Oh? Do tell! I'm curious what the story is. Was it an anti-Mormon nut?

Quit taking things so seriously, man. Loosen up, calm down, and carve a pumpkin.
My comment was not intended to be serious (even though reading it afterward does indeed make it sound more serious than intended). My wording might not have been completely well-thought.
Hey, no problem. No offense, no harm.

Last night at a thing I carried around a small cardboard sign that said "Homeless. Out of job. Need more cardboard for a bigger sign." I tried leveraging my (actually) broken jaw to gain some sympathy points, but it wasn't enough to get me any more cardboard. Halloween-time is kind of terrible when you can't eat any candy. :(
Back so soon?

Let's share each others costume creations here! Tonight our church hosted a Halloween event. A few people thought I was Superman. I trust you know the difference.

Here, we have Barbie hopping along, beating up the local wildlife with a butterfly net. Also, books are only good as stepping stools. What? The mirror level is neat, yes, but I can't be the only one bothered by how it's not reflecting properly. It should be showing her back, dang it! Anyway, this movie is no less exciting than Punky Skunk, which got accepted, so why not this? I approve. The bugs were neat enough. Tangetially, some of the most fun I've had with my niece was watching these cheesy Barbie princess girly girl movies, watching the closing credits, and telling her, "Oh, hey, [insert character] was the voice of Rarity!" In this movie's case, it would be Ashlyn and Twyla voicing Celestia while Hadley and Ilsa did the voice for Applejack and Rainbow Dash respectively.
