This is something I've been awaiting; a GameCube TAS. I liked ReneBalow's TAS on the game, and I'd love to see how you progressed through the game. (EDIT 9/3/2011 13:13 CST) After watching some of this and reading the posts, I'm kind of iffy about this, so "Meh" vote.

I was on my way to tell you that this run seemed similar to the one gia did months ago, then I read your information, and realized you are right. Very well done improvement, p4wn3r.

A definite yes. Pretty slick moves throughout the run. Also love what you guys did in the moving platform stage.

I vote yes. Interesting run output, plus I like the use of death to save time used in here.

I've never seemed to notice it as a "Zelda clone", so I wouldn't know about that, but I guess I sort of see the similarities. We need GameCube runs on this site, though, so go ahead if you plan on doing it.

Would be interesting to see a 100% run on this game. Having beaten the game (or at least the eight levels or so), a run of this wouldn't be so bad.

Pretty awesome stuff you sent in. A TAS of this game is most needed (or wanted).

I was anticipating a WIP when I saw this thread. What I got was disappointment.

Bheszt, don't let the fact that someone else is TASing the same game discourage you from taking it yourself. People can share and it's not unusual for a run to be published with co-authors; even if you aren't interested in working with another person directly, you can learn more about how to optimize a game from another runner's work, and friendly frame wars benefit just about everyone.
With that said, if he comes out with the run first, you can observe different techniques he uses, learn from them, and maybe discover a hidden glitch or two (if you know the game that much).

3D Pinball Space Cadet RollerCoaster Tycoon (Just to see how people can manipulate it and such) Any Fallout Game (3 the most) I know someone mentioned some of the Source Engine games (There's no telling what someone could do with Half-Life 2) Any Left 4 Dead game I might think of more later. For now this is all I can come up with.

Although I didn't get finished watching the whole thing, I'll vote "yes", simply because I loved your Pokémon Yellow TAS, and this seems enjoyable. I'll wait for an encode. By the way, I LOL'd when it said "I evolved into Venusaur".

Hello, fellow members of TASVideos. I'm not exactly new here. In fact, I've been coming back here for some time (months to be exact), collecting videos and whatnot and decided maybe I should join. I don't know what use I could be for the site, but I thought I might join since I visit regularly. ...That's about it.
