Rename your file extension to a .zip, then try to open it. I'm going off intution here because this also happened to me, but only the greenzone is broken (and thus not your entire file.) However, even if this is broken, you can recover the other files, and thus rebuild a tasproj with the files from your archive: either remove the greenzone, or create a new zip with the intact other files from the tasproj, then rename the extension from a zip to tasproj.
No luck, can't open or extract it as a .zip either.

The Movie/Platform mismatch is not caused by the movie. I can't open the file in BizHawk either, so that means the zip is broken.
I see, thanks. I'll mess around with it a bit more, maybe if I'm clever enough I can salvage the input log.

Nothing in your file is broken. If you want to check use 7zip, bk2 and tasproj are zip files.
Attempting to open the tasproj as a 7zip archive gives me: "Can not open file as archive." I can open all of my other tasproj files in that manner just fine. What do you mean when you say nothing in my file is broken? Are you saying the file I uploaded opens fine on your end?

Been trying to use a hex editor to either fix whatever was broken or extract the inputs into an uncorrupted file, no luck in either though. I've got a backup from a couple days ago so I'll live even if it's not salvageable. Although this is the 2nd time I've had this problem so a workaround of some sort would be ideal.

I'm assuming Flameberger is using a .tasproj file (TAStudio file), which would not work on userfiles anyway. You need to find some other sort of file host for that.
That's correct, sorry for not being clear. Here's a Google Drive link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2wLzGaIinDzY0NMd3VSaHRBNUE

http://tasvideos.org/userfiles#uploadfile You need to be logged into the website, same username and password. Filesize needs to be under 4MB when compressed. So you should be fine, as long as your movie file is more or less normal, (ie, low entropy)
I can only seem to get it down to a bit under 9MB with 7zip.

What would be the best way to do that? Filesize is 10MB.

"Movie system Id () does not match the currently loaded platform (GBA), unable to load" Was working on this TAS yesterday, no apparent problems. Try to open it today and get this error.

Hetfield90's encode uses point resized upscaling, to preserve the pixels in their crispy and blocky glory. Rolanmen1's encode uses different methods of upscaling/pixel filtering, to give the imagery a smoother and more streamlined appearance. Your mileage may vary on which one looks better at higher resolution screens. Historically, TASVideos has preferred point resizing over pixel scaling filters.
Ah neato, thanks for the info. Edit: Thanks for the accepted status on the submission. I'd like to suggest frame 109091 for the screenshot. I also want to thank everyone for their kind words and yes votes. I appreciate it a lot.

Thanks for the encode Rolan. Doesn't seem quite as crisp as the one Hetfield uploaded, is that intentional?
This encode looks better on higher resolution screens actually. And didn't knew Hetfield encoded it.
I see I see, yeah I just meant the temp encode Het made for me to put in the submission text. Pixels crispy as heck.

Very impressive. Surely a yes vote. Phantom fight and the pogo sticking really amazed me. How much time did you spend on this run?
Very tough to estimate because I worked on it over a long period with a pretty big hiatus in the middle. 1,000 - 2,000 hours?

Obvious Yes Vote. Very satisfying overall, and really surprised me with the Phantom and Blizzack bossfights, didn't believe you can swag them that hard. And by the way, I did really know about dashing off ledges saves you a frame, but sometimes I avoided doing so because doing it would produce lag, as you said, it is a very laggy game.
Ah ok, my mistake. Seems not even VBA is safe from ledge dash lag.

Great job, and easy yes vote! Will you be making improvements to the any% run as well?
Not currently on the to-do list. I'm not really into Any% for this game.

When I use TAStudio on my laptop the window looks like this: I'm unable to use branches because the window is too small. Is it possible to resize that window? The laptop's screen resolution is 1366x768.

If I understand correctly, any event that has random elements will affect it. In my RTA strats I shoot the snake with a lemon (which gets randomly deflected up or down) to get a better pattern. Sometimes the options for how you can manipulate it are a bit limited.
I don't think so. Boss' pattern can be changed by shooting red orbs to its body, but the cause is not red orbs' random elements. You can try shoot the snake's body with Model Fx' regular bullet, snake's pattern can change, too.
Haven't checked with Fx shots, but when orbit (or other charge shots) hit the snake they create the same kind of spark that you see when you shoot a wall with a lemon. It's only visible for one frame though. http://imgur.com/a/DxKIu#0 These images show that frame, the second image was captured after firing the charge 1 frame later than for the first image. One of the sparks has a different shape. Edit: Just checked Fx against an enemy with the same lemon deflecting properties (The roller on the miniboss in Lurerre's stage) and the same spark is visible, with the shape being different depending on the frame the shot was fired.

47 frames faster actually.

Moth I’m interested in a new TAS of this, do you have a file of the intro with the male character? What were the RNG problems?
RNG changes frame by frame and reset when entering a sub-area, for example, entering Area A-2 from Area A-1. Shooting Wall can change the RNG as well.

No, All 3 projectiles in the full charge shot have the same combo value, so as long as at least one of them hits that's the best you can do.

Hello, there's also this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPied7PDUpo I don't know for certain if it would be faster in TAS, but I timed it to be nearly a second faster than switching to and from X in RTA.
