And there's the usual problem how the door is a loading point, and it's still locked.

Great movie, but I'm not voting just now as it seems your first one got improved by 2 frames, and now you're doing another one. I'll be voting yes for that one though, keep up the good work

Well I'm sure if anything like that was possible on the N64 version, you would need MIPS the rabbit in order to do it, which would defeat the purpose of a 0 star run.

God damn it man, give it a rest guys! How about improving the 120 star version, I'm sure that'll keep you busy for a lot longer

You know, I don't know why I ever bother voting on SM64 runs, considering a better version will be released in a few weeks. But it's a yes regardless.

That new SDA run was brilliant, not far off a TAS if you ask me. He was really good at activating infinite sword and supersliding. Although saying that, I bet he had like 200 failed attempts.

I submitted a run for a genesis game pretty much nobody cares about (James Pond 3), so naturally votes aren't exactly pouring in. The thing is, I've already begun working on the second version, and it looks like I'll be finishing this one before the first one has been officially accepted or rejected. So, is there anything funny I have to do before submitting the second run? Otherwise there'd end up being 2 topics on Workbench about the game, and I don't want any confusion between the two. Do I have to alert the original topic and tell people not to vote, or get Bisqwit to delete the topic, or any other weird thing like that? Or should I just submit the run as nornal and hope people just ignore and forget about the original topic.

I liked it, and I'm guessing that you managed to produce the run pretty quickly, so it's a yes from me. Having said that, since it was so fast it seemed like 70% of it was just loading screens, and I noticed in your earlier Wip that you had perfect balance, yet you didn't in this movie.

Lol, the competition rounds were funny, looking great so far. On Surburbia, I notice you spent most of the time in Switched Stance, which makes you go slower. This could've been avoided by doing half a turn less on the initial jump, or simply pressing R when you are just skating along flat ground. I'm sure that would help

Ah, the day finally arrives. Been waiting for the final version for a while now, excellent work on Stone Tower. Definately a yes from me. **squints hard into the small print** Yay, I was mentioned! Try using Rice's Video Plugin 6.1.1 Beta 10 if you're having dysynch problems, it'll play all the way through then.

OK, looks like I did some pretty poor explaining there, I'll try and clear things up. First of all, forget about the 2 endings ordeal, there's really only 1, it was just my inexperience which lead me to believe there was 2. If you're not quite sure on it, just watch this quick video, you can skip nearly all of it anyway: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/374583527/JP3.gmv For the first half I deliberately kill myself just for the sake of getting to the Game over screen. For the next bit I warp and defeat the final boss without the neccessary requirements, hence getting what I referred to as the bad ending; where as in fact it's actually just the exact same Game Over screen I got a few minutes earlier. No credits or "The End" gets shown, so doing it this way basically has the same effect as just dying; so I can't see how finishing the game in this manner could be considered completing it. That is what I was gonna do originally, but obviously changed it into what is currently being published. Ok, now the other issues. Jumping will maintain speed, but it doesn't last forever. Air will eventually slow you down too, it's just that it takes longer to do so, so I cant go through entire levels at sonic speed. Next, I've only got 1 health left at 37000, so jumping down into the hole would've killed me. I needed to wait for the TNT to finish exploding.

XD That was great, I was really looking forward to this level. Great laser cutting, I had no idea you could leave without Natalia, great job. On the youtube link, you said you wanted to create a message but couldn't due to the bullet holes not hanging around. Why should that stop you though? Just shoot the message anyway, it should be easy enough for the viewers to trace the letters you make, even if they don't stick around.

I'd prefer a CCCless run to a BLJless run though, and I'm surem any others wil agree.

How far back did you restart from? The earliest improvement I can think of is inside of the deku tree, getting a little boost off one of the skullwalltulas instead of climbing all the way round the vines.

Why hasn't this game had a submitted run yet? There's been like 5 or so runs, plus plenty of practices on multiplayer, so why havent any of them been accepted?

I doubt the 120 star run could be improved by that much, and I cant see why doing the bowser keys first would be beneficial. It'd just make the run a lot less efficient, if you have to go out of your way to go down to the basement at the start, rather than collecting the key when you're down there getting the other stars anyway.

1 star? Wow, although I find the standard 16 star run to be a lot more entertaining; since I prefer seeing how fast you can collect the stars rather than how fast you can BLJ through the castle doors. Nevertheless, that's the most efficient castle/Bowser runs yet, so it looks like the 70/120 ones can be improved a short while.

A gem of a platformer, definately deserves a TAS; so here's where run's at so far: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1826439734/James%20Pond%203.gmv I'm not too happy with the last few levels though, burning up a lot of health, might be more useful using it later. I'll probably redo from the Lumpsville Lurker. Thoughts so far?
