That's the incorrect file. The path should be Dolphin Emulator/Config/GFX.ini

dolphin-master-5.0-3334-x64 Test movie: 55508 inputss ~ 5:08. 3x native internal resolution, 1080p, anti-aliasing 8x msaa, 8x anisotropic filtering without FFV1, crappy video dump ~ 100mb (2 730 kb/s), horribly pixellated. with FFV1, good video dump ~6.76gb (189 mb/s), good, obviously.. Since when dumping without FFV1 become so crappy? A few months ago, I don't remenber what rev, rendering without FFV1 was very good. Here is a quick comparative encode, at 9000 kb/s (~334mb each) see @ ~2:00 Link to video Link to video
Ffmpeg was updated to latest stable version. This fixed a bug in Windows where the bitrate settings didn't affect the quality of the dumped video. To account for this, I added a new configuration option in the GFX ini called BitrateKbps. To get the best quality out of XviD encodes, set this to some really high number like 50000 (it won't actually do 50000kbps, it just puts it in a really high quality profile).

Alright, so I'll detail the three different endings here: The ending in the current movie is what plays when you have not beaten all the boards nor unlocked all the minigames. Christopher Robin tells you there's still more left to explore. No credits play, but it's the fastest way to reach the end. A different ending plays if all the boards are beaten, but not all the minigames unlocked (the scenario you bring up). In it, there are extra cutscenes and the credits play. Christopher Robin tells you there's still more left to explore. Achieving this ending will probably only require an extra minute and a half of gameplay. The best ending only appears after beating all boards and unlocking all four minigames. It plays out exactly the same as the previous ending, (extra cutscenes, credits, and all) except Christopher Robin tells you you've found everything, and there's an ending image reading, "I have graduated from the 100 Acre Wood!". Since the minigames are long and on large tangents, this ending would probably require twice the length of the current movie. *VERY IMPORTANT* So I just discovered like yesterday that there exists a Japanese version of this game. As expected, the text scrolling is way faster, and I would like to redo the entire TAS on that version. Therefore, I do plan to cancel this submission. Before cancelling, however, I would like your input on whether the end goal I chose here is deemed "sufficient game completion" by TASVideos. I assume it's a case-by-case basis, but upon further inspection of the rules, I'm unsure whether or not the site considers this an "incomplete" ending or just not the "best" ending. Thanks!
The first ending (the one you get in the TAS) can happen on any level? Or does it only happen on the last level? If it happens on any level, then it doesn't complete the game. For language differences, we generally prefer US versions of games unless there are version specific glitches and tricks, such as Ultra Hammer Early in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. We have our movies rules page, which explains our general guidelines for a TAS to be submitted at TASVideos.

A lot has happened over the past day or so. First, Girtana1 (the original glitch finder) was able to reproduce the Barrier Skip on HD with logged inputs: https://clips.twitch.tv/DeafUglyNeanderthalNerfRedBlaster Then, Linkus7 confirmed that it was possible to do without any late game items: https://clips.twitch.tv/SilkyLazyBeanSpicyBoy Linkus7 was then able to pull it off in a real run: https://clips.twitch.tv/RoughHorribleHerdUnSane Finally, gymnast86 was able to get World Record using barrier skip, while completing all dungeons in 3:05:57: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/134784046?t=3h51m35s As an added bonus, barrier skip is also theoretically possible on SD, but requires more speed than currently possible in that area: https://twitter.com/dragonbane0/status/851550715705249792 All in all, the actual skip is rather simple, just needs to be in a somewhat precise location and angle for it to work.

Is there any difference to the ending if you complete the final board without getting caught?

It's definitely a lot better compared to when it was originally considered for BizHawk. I was attempting to add re-recording support myself, but it turned out to be too much of a challenge for myself to complete.

I'm just noting here that if no one claims the publication within two weeks, I'll publish it.

On BizHawk, I started using TAStudio for THPS2, and I really like using it. For emulators that don't have something like TAStudio, I just use a controller with specific hotkeys bound.

This should be posted in the Gamecube/Wii game section, not here.

So how close are we now to getting a rr emulator? Lots of exciting games available to TAS on PSP...
Not much closer, it's a lot harder than I anticipated, also with lack of time to work on it.

Honest question - did this not qualify for vault for some reason? (I admit I couldn't stomach making it through the first rap, which is still rattling around disturbingly in my head in a way that concerns me that it is growing on me, but I digress.) I mean, sure, this is clearly an awful game, but was there a technicality I missed? Just curious.
It's very trivial to TAS. The game is literally press the Story mode button in the menu and end input. Game completes itself without any interaction (except to keep the wiimote from disconnecting).

I had this game for the Xbox and seeing it destroyed like this is awesome. Sure, compared to game has fewer tricks but I love the atmosphere. Yes, I have a soft spot for the music. Please don't judge me. :)
The soundtrack is actually pretty decent, save for a few songs.

Wow. I never really thought you could beat this game that fast. What was that glitch you used on the Gargamel rap? That was incredible.
I dunno, but that Gargamel rap was quite catchy, why not create a custom chart for it on Rock Band 3? Link to video

In a game i'm TASing, the fastest form of movement causes the screen to blur for a few frames once every second. In Dolphin, disabling fog removes the blur and also makes the game look better by removing a few other filters. This movement technique wasn't known until recently so most of the levels in the TAS don't do it. Is it possible to request that the official TASvideos encode disables fog in the later levels for entertainment reasons? I'll make a comparison video between fog vs. no fog once I finish the level i'm working on.
:(

An official Discord channel has been created. However, it's not a replacement for the TASVideos IRC, it's simply an alternative. Only the TASVideoAgent is mirrored from IRC, no IRC mirroring between the Discord channel and IRC is being done. The TASVideos IRC channel is still the preferred and recommended way to communicate with other members of the site. Invite link: https://discord.gg/GySG2b6

I thought I set that flag, fixed.

For savestates with movie recording/playback, the two files created are foo.dtm and foo.dtm.sav. Both should be shared together if playback is to be achieved, and must be in the same folder.

So the movie was rejected for a rule that didn't exist at the time the run was submitted?
It existed prior to the run being submitted. http://tasvideos.org/MovieRules.html#MovieMustBeginFromConsolePowerOn Note the "Clear SRAM" portion. All that the added rule did was clarify the existing rule.

I just started a TAS of this game and wanted to play it back. So, when I first made the TAS, there was not the message ''a save file has been created.'' But when I played it back, it was suddenly appearing, desyncing my movie. Can anyone help? EDIT: When I load a state right before the message appears, the movie syncs without the message even appearing.
What version of Dolphin are you using? Also, try clearing your save file folder.

Sync Check: Requires an AMD GPU running with OpenGL, 1x native resolution, no anti-aliasing, 1x texture filtering.

The bootup in this video prevents all epileptic seizures? That's amazing.
No, the original boot up can cause epileptic seizures because it's a lot of flashing colours. Because of that, it's edited to prevent possible seizures.
