In the bottom left, there are a pair of equal signs [and, early on, some loading messages when the bgm changes]. Is this intentional/unavoidable
It's an emulator option that can be turned off.

After watching the run, I noticed the game randomly asks if it's your final answer. I think the run could be faster if you manipulate Regis never asking if that's your final answer.

Do you need to record in Super Game Boy mode? I'd like to see what you're pressing, but SGB mode shows the buttons as always being held at pretty much all times. Other than that, nothing to say except it's coming along pretty good.

Watched the run yesterday, and I'm very impressed with it.

I've only played EBA, but I've heard these 2 have similarities gameplay-wise. Since DS emulation is a little crappy, we can discuss what kind of run could be done. Since I haven't played Ouendan, I can give EBA recommendations. Probably a full completion run, aiming for getting 300s on every beat and max points on the spinners. A run of Breezin', Cruisin', Sweatin', and Hard ROCK! difficulties with max points on every level (going back to the other difficulties to complete the songs that get unlocked on the later difficulties), starting at Walkie Talkie Man on Cruisin' and ending at the final shown image on after Jumpin' Jack Flash on Hard ROCK!. Map navigation would have to be very swift.

Only game I can think of right now is "Spongebob Squarepants: Legend of the Lost Spatula." Probably a completion getting only the necessary upgrades for each item (upgrading the spatula to the Hydro Spatula, for example, is a good upgrade) and only the necessary items. I also noticed most bosses (like the on on Undersea Desert) have certain attack patterns (this boss fires ketchup shots either quickly or slowly), which could be luck-manipulated to get the fastest results. Just throwing an idea out into the open.
