I am trying to collect only NES items at the moment but couldn't resist the urge to pick this up. Especially for $150. Thankfully the lady lived down the street. Bad news is I cannot get it inside my house. Door frame is too narrow and the machine is too tall and wide to fit in sideways. Also, got lucky and called the lady back wondering if she still had the key to open it up. Didn't want to ruin the key hole on the machine. Bad boy lights up on the top and inside the bubble under the system. Sound and controllers work great. Display Item # N64M64FT Display Type NUS Interactive MerchTerritory 2105 Long time no talk here. Hope you all are doing good! I've been working on a Single Segment Speedrun of this game and its quite hard and have figured out a small way to save a little time in this TAS. x2poet's run is a clean run but I feel that he did not explore the game enough. I know this game is boring to watch. Trust me. My best time on a SpeedRun is 24 minutes because the Eliminator jacks me up every damn time. However on the Eliminator, when you get up on the hand bike pedal thing, you need to get hit by a ball immediately causing you to fall and the game warps you up to the end of that obstacle. I have no intention of doing this on a TAS, just wanted to give the advice for someone that might want to give it a try and see how many seconds the death saves on both parts of the Eliminator. Anyways. Good visiting this site again. Always fun to see whats new.

I have been playing this game a crap ton lately and finished a personal best single segment console speedrun of ~24 minutes with some mistakes. However watching this made me wonder why you were not using death to save time on the Eliminator? When you jump to do the hand bike crank thing, if you get hit and fall, you end up at the end of that obstacle saving a good 4 seconds on the both of them. Just got to make a ball hit you right when your hands touch the crank.

First time I have seen this run. Very nice btw. Thanks for the mention in the description of me. To this day I am still certain that you can skip the rest of 3-1 by getting a guy stuck in that ladder at 6:22 and doing the ladder glitch, putting you in 3-2 in the area below the surface. I am to this day kicking myself for not having record on and just messing around with stuff in the game. Ever since then I have yet to find out what caused that to happen and when tried with now, it jumps me back a few stages in the game (I think 1-2).

Well, I mean I have ran the iso before and got no problem, and now it does this. Its really bizarre. I dont know about the original RE, I can always give that a try. Just unexplainable is what it is to me. And with the PSX-JIN, it just wont even recognize any of the buttons being pressed.

So, I tried running the new Playstation emulator for Resident Evil: Directors Cut and couldnt get it to respond to buttons being pressed, weird....but when running it with pcsx, it acts weird by when I want to select the game mode, Original, Beginner, Arranged, it wont stop moving up/down to select the game mode and just starts going super fast. Any idea why this is happening?

Shit, tell me about it. I played this game alot as a teenager and only accomplished getting the King to drop twice out of 100's of encounters and him not escaping.

Just wanted to say hi.....................hi IMO, cant wait to sell this full 120 star run to its potential. Dont care how long it takes. Just cant wait. Well, if every person that goes for TAS WR's attempts a 120 star run, then the run should be completed extremely fast with 20% different players playing the same run. Anyways, I hope everyone is doing really good with life/work/whatever and wish you all a great rest of your year. Seasons Greetings people!

Is it physically impossible to go through the door in the sky at the very beginning of the game? What I've tried is getting the magic door, then veggie on the head after going back through the door, then ladder warping at the 1st ladder to the top right corner of the very beginning, jumping with princess and throwing the veggie and hovering for a moment to land on it (As if i was on land) to open the door. Any input?

First post in a while. Got this just the other day from Ebay. Finally got my Buddy back :D Although the bundle cost me $129 shipped and he shipped it priority $36, i felt like I got a bargain. Everything smelled like an ashtray but I just left it all out under a fan for a few days and its 95% gone. Parents sold mine 10+ years ago for $5. I'm really excited to put this in my collection. Esp with the deluxe box it came in http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250676171652&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT Now I just need the parts for Stack up! EDIT: Oh yeah, counted my NES collection today. 685 Carts. 350 or so left to get! Thats with cart variation. (As in I have 4 different versions of The Legend of Zelda) 3 Gold (1 5 screw, 2 3 screw with label variations) 1 Grey.

I'm still convinced for a no warp run, that you can skip levels without the black level screen showing up by the ladder glitch. I have pulled this off once, didnt record, didnt even bother with it again. I went from 3-1 to 3-2 from a ladder glitch. Wondering if its possible again?

I suggest Poy Poy. You can do some crazy damage to the computer in that game.

I have been playing this game (on console) lately and have been noticing some funny incidents. The area right before the final fights with the moving platforms has some character glitches in it. Jump-kick the guy on the moving platform, he will stay on there until you jump forward then he will just randomly fall off. Quite interesting. Also, same area last platform, I got a guy to commit suicide when riding up. My only problem with this game is that the jackass with the machine gun always bullshits me and kills me. I get around him and then my arch nemesis.....me.....destroys me. I've beaten this game once on console and cannot do it again. Maybe tomorrow I will try again and experiment with some funny glitches to share with you Hyena. Btw, headbutting the enemies into water and off edges is priceless. Cheers

So, been on Craigslist for a while now and come across some good things here and there. This is my best find. Picked this up for free (not free if you count the $16 i put in for gas) You also have "Super Mario Bros. 2 (aka The Lost Levels)" and "Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa (aka Baby Mario)," which I did not put in the listing because they are Chinese pirate carts. ~Dustin Graham This posting been deleted from craigslist[?] Back to Craigslist | Return to my account page Famicom A/V, Disk System, and games Cleaning out my collection.
