Yeah, SotN has a total of 4 resolutions (512x240 [title screen and intro scene (scrolling text)] being the largest). I just upsampled all to that so I don't lose any video information.

IMO, you can't even call that an ending; I mean, it doesn't even update your savefile to "complete" or whatever it was on SotN.

C'mon, that is just hypothetical, you don't have to be like that. Also, based on how many players were in the stream, beating it through Anarchy will be likely to impossible.

But why on the "Encoders' corner"? This issue of yours is totally unrelated to encoding.

Actually not so bad. Gamefaqs just says I have to beat the game to unlock hidden mansion. So is it still a good verification if I glitch to king boo and finish?
Since glitches are something that are in-game, yes you can. Remember that the SRAM has to be generated by the movie; the judge doesn't have to do anything for the SRAM to be created.

So you're saying I need to play through the full game and make a movie of it? Then I can start my tas? Cause I found the save file on gamefaqs...
Yes. As I said, it's to make sure that the SRAM is completely legit and safe.

It's a movie file that generates the SRAM (savefile) needed to playback a TAS starting from that same savefile. It's to prove that the SRAM is legit, and it wasn't made with cheat codes or anything.

Movies of games that are not emulated well (have graphical or functional glitches that do not exist on the real console) should not be submitted.
At least for me, this is a different case. The game can be emulated without functional and graphical glitches, and the music is more like a minor problem.

It was more entertaining than I expected, huh; although I have to agree that the constant pausing gets annoying. If this gets accepted, an encode trimming off those segments would be just perfect. "Why Mr. Anderson?!"

It's not exactly proportional to compare ~300 players with 65,000~.

That... I don't remember that VBA had desync issues out of nowhere (its not Mupen after all).

Where does that movie come from? A desync happens when: - You used a different ROM from the one used in the movie. - The emulator version is not the one used to make the movie.

Nope, its Deftones. EDIT: Then again, before planning all this stuff to TASing PSP, we have to wait that even the regular emulators are able to emulate like God demands it.
