Well, here's another one that I made today. This time's the classic SMB music theme, just for fun. Lots of tension caused lots of sweat, and lots of sweat caused lots of mistakes (especially during the last half). Really sorry about that... Link to video

Hi. This is me playing Michael Jackson's Beat It with nothing but my bare hands. Sorry for several mistakes I made, mostly due to tension and high difficulty. I wonder how many of you could also do that... Link to video

I'm wondering, about when would H.265 (HEVC) be one of our official encoder. There have been HEVC decoders and encoders for a long time, but I haven't tried it because I don't know when it will be developed good enough. I think HEVC would become main codec for videos soon or later, so I'd like to hear what do you think of it.

Wow, this is going really crazy... I can't believe Super Mario World could be done in 100 seconds. Extremely nice work! Yes vote of course.

Well, on Youtube you can easily skip them after several seconds, while on Youku and Tudou and many other Chinese video sites you have to watch 45 seconds of ads sometimes (maybe even more), and most of the sites will put watermarks on videos.

A short answer: Normally you need at least 1 pixel inside the wall to do a walljump, while in this case you need 2, which requires X-speed > 32 before hitting the wall. With the X-speed of 40 (full-running speed), this thing does happen frequently whenever you are deep (2 pixels) inside the wall, holding right, and happening to press jump 1 frame later. With the same way, you can also face right before you hit the wall , and face left after the walljump. If you've seen my SMB "lowest score 500" run, you may also find it possible to walk for a few frames after hitting the wall and do a walljump.

Congratulations on your first submission here, well done. I'd love to see another hack of Rockman get published. Yet I have a question, why did you aim to reach the fastest time but without getting hurt, while getting hurt could save time? Would getting hurt decrease the entertainment value or something? Thanks. Edit: Sorry, my mistake... The author takes damage of course.

I've been longing to see a VVVVVV TAS for so long, and I'm sure that this wouldn't disappoint me. Will watch and vote immediately after I get home and this gets published. By the way, I'm a big fan of this game, and I'd like to make an 100% (all Shiny Trinkets) run this year if no one else wants to do it. One of the things that stopped me last year is the version issue. Using suicide in 2.0 can save plenty of time in the 100% run, but I'm not sure if anyone would like to see it happens. As for me, I'm with the use of 2.0 for both any% and 100% run, and I'd like to hear from others' opinions.

There are lots of performances that you can never see elsewhere. It keeps me extremely surprised all the way, and I know ISM and Mister have worked very hard on this, even if I don't think of the amazing re-record count. YES vote.

Thank you, Mister and ISM, that was tremendously awesome! To be honest, I shouted "wow" to the screen several times. There are way many tricks I never seen or heard before. I love autoscrollers and boss fights especially. :)

Thank you very much, the frame-advance version of swimming sound sounds really cool. The first frame doesn't seem to be the wrong choice, and I see you've chosen it prudently, but I'll probably go for the 9th frame, which might fit the music better along with other sound effects. That's only my opinion, great job, again. :)

No I didn't! I pressed it several frames before to match up the sound with the upcoming beat. This is possible with frame advance and sound enabled. I think the reason you think it's not perfect is because the swimming sound starts with a deep tone and if you watch the video with low volume it sounds not right.
I think the swimming sound can be separated into two parts: the first part is a deep tone with low volume and the second one is just the opposite. Actually the first one is easier to be neglected, so after hearing the music parts several times, I still feel it strange and need to be improved somehow. Have you tried putting the second one, which is the sound with higher tone and high volume on the note you're playing? I wonder if it would sound better... Anyway, no question about your great work of course. PS: I enjoyed every block duplication action a lot! Can't stop loving it!

With all respect, the music timing is really not perfect, mostly because you ignored the large delay when performing the "swiming" sound. So "frame perfect" isn't about just press the right button at the right frame, if taking the difference of sound delay in to account.
