Here's an MF5.0 non-TASed run (by HappyLee, that is myself) in 8:50. And here's an MF4.4 TAS in 10:36 by LYH. TASing 5.0 and latest versions would cause more troubles I guess, due to more bugs and higher speed. Version 4.4 is stable enough to TAS, so I would make a TAS of it recently.

Mario Forever is a well-known PC Mario game. It's fun to play, and suitable to TAS. The latest version(5.01) works not bad on Hourglass, however, it causes lots of crashes. Here's a very simple test for the beginning scene, also, a warped run is about to be done.

Yeah, you're right. So the Ride Armor is not quite like Zero, I must have been mistaken about it. I guess further testing is always needed.

I don't know, but wouldn't it be much faster if you took the red machine to fight against Magma Dragoon? Using the way Zero does to Bosses almost everytime. I think that could work, however, I haven't tested it myself yet.

It's nice to see someone really tried to make an interesting SMB run, and that deserves to be encouraged. Since almost everyone is applauding it, I'd like to point out a few shortcomings, don't take them too hard because you have done a pretty good job. First of all, you jumped too much. It's not annoying to me, but I think that you have wasted way too much ground. And most of the jumps should be necessary enough I think. Secondly, you have also wasted lots of lifts. Pulling a lift down is more interesting than doing nothing or skipping it away everytime. Perhaps I was being a bit captious, but I believe that you're a very talented TASer, and it's good for you to improve your style to perfection. I still prefer the original FDS version because it's glitchy. You may see several levels with surprising endings.

YES vote of course. It's my favorite Metal Slug games, I tried to make an 1-player TAS, but I stopped at Mission 2 due to heavy pressure. I think maybe I can finish it sometime. Again, nice run. Although I think it could be more entertaining, it's good enough for a 2-player run.

Well done! Wonderful job! I thought the record of 11:00.65 on nicovideo was fast enough, but this proved me wrong. I love it, voting YES! Edit: Still, I'm waiting for a downloadable encode. Or, if anyone would like to teach me to use lua to show key-input, I'd like to make an encode myself.

It seems nice, but not good enough. And by the way, Mars is also making a warpless+walkathron TAS, which is much faster and more entertaining. I'm glad to see new people TASing this game, but perhaps you can do a better job by trying harder.

I wrote an HD encoding AviSinth script, and I need to output the video file large, at least 1000 Kbps. Because a Chinese video site Youku.com ask the upload file must have a bigger rate than 1000 Kbps to get HD converting. So it's necessary to make the video file larger on purpose. Edit: This is a 4x HD encode. The rate of the lossless codec is 152 Kbps. How should I encode a HD movie with x264 and make it's file size large enough (but not too large) to get HD converting from Youku? >1000 Kbps, that is. Would anyone please give me some advice? Thanks.
