I don't think PAL mode was used in that video since it wasn't sped up and it was originally from Nico Nico Douga, a Japanese video site (which supports the thought that the author used the normal version).

Coins usually take about half space of the block, just like hiding coins. They can make Mario go through the wall deeper until they are gotten. No one has ever done the trick in 4-2 that way using the JU version, including myself.
And I have been making HL_SMBwarpless_V4 for a long time. I'm a little busy with my study recently, but I'll try to finish it next year.

Make the score counter overflow to zero. If it is zero, it is truly zero. It doesn't have to make sense.
You see, some Chinese TASer and I have discussed about that, turns out that 64.8% of us think that it's impossible to get the maximum score(9999950, that is, with 7 digits).
More important thing, this run I made seems not going to make it according to the vote result, I sincerely hope that most of people would enjoy it, thank you.

I believe there are ways to improve the SMB warped movie. I have never stop trying, and I've been really closed to save 21 frames in 4-2 and 1 frame in 8-4. And I'm about to finish my Super Mario Bros "Lowest score(500)" TAS.

No of course. And you don't need anything in 8-1 to evade coins except a simple wall jump.
This mission is even more boring than getting the lowest score(500).
