Calm down people, I'm not throwing stones at Desmume... I test with other games, and works very well and even better that neon/no$gba. Just wonder why 'some games' gets these not optimal emulation... Desmume is the emulation with more features than any other, just pointing a 'effect'... 3D games with 3D graphics works, polygons/meshs works amazing, no slowdown. 2D games with 2D graphics works, sprite engine perfect, no slowdown. 2D games using 3D graphics, like castlevanias, the fps slowdown too much. Is just a case to be study, and see if is really need some improvements... Sorry for my english, and really sorry if people thinks that I hate Desmume...

Just a question... I compare no$gba and NeonDS, and both works faster on Castlevania games compared to Desmume. The castlevanias don't use standard sprite engine, they rended everything on 3D engine. Desmume works very slow for then, on frame-skip 4/5 the game gets laggy and unplayable, and values below this, the game gets too slow... My computer specs: Intel Dual Core 2.4+2.4 (x64 and sse supported, but running x86 windows xp sp3) NVidia GeForce 512mb Ram 3 Gb Ram OnBoard soundcard (Realtek) Any hint beside "get a better computer" ?

Sorry to say, the game is boring, i just hold fast foward at most of the replay. Is play, every level have the same stages, just with exchanged levels and design. Sorry, is a non-TASable game, unless you show some weird glitches... (skip entire stages, uber-amazing-speed running... and so on...)

I notice that the character is a bit painfull to control... lol... Nice run, speedy, direct... damage taken to speed up more... I vote a yes, and I'm sure that you will find more improvements to the run... See you on the next version... :) good luck!

Try to use the same rom that already run's uses. This reason alone and "some mistakes" is a direct no, sorry.

Is a nice game, i have here on english (translated i think). I already see the "fast ending", with deads (fantasia). OK, rpg's are a bit long, but this game deserves a any% and a 100% mode (100% = all frescos, no characted dead, "good" ending)

i have the disksys.rom on fceu folder, the same of the executable... but the fds games dont run, just a blank screen either. i'm missing something?

Nice run... lucky manipulated to get some weapow, glytches to skip large parts... nice TAS! I LOVE IT! oh man... i'm really waiting to see DS comes to TAS world... the castlevanias on DS are amazing!

Is just me, or this game is WonderBoy in Monster World? (or Mônica no Castelo do Dragão... brazilian title!) or VERY similar? And Saiyuuki World 2 is Whomp'em... lol...

Very good run! I play aria for fun, and knows how hard sometimes is to get some souls... lol... As I see, there is no perfect game that can't be abused anyway... PS: GOD! YOU RUN AT 1 HP TO MAXIMIZE THE SOUL POWER! LOL!
