Also this TAS got that 5 fps mode. Try to start new game after movie ends without reset. It would be sooo sloooow... This also delays credits start by a lot. I'm sure it possible to starts credits early, but it maybe would required longer input.

Few questions if I may. You did a round house kick away from enemies a few times in the run. In stage 3 about 3:40 in the temp encode but it does not seem to do anything directly and you get hit in the process. was this just waiting for the enemy stun to reset and just killing time? The second time you did it to Machine Gun Willie at about 8:20 in the temp encode. This time though you dealt damage to him and knocked him down. Can you explain what happened please? That is all from my first watch. will watch it again and look for minor improvements.

Did you find the trigger points from a ram value or just from when the ceiling falls? (I am sure it is just visual) This is rather interesting, I will tinker with this and see what comes of it. Also, I do know pasky made a hit box lua script, Wonder if a script could be made to show floors and walls, would help with navagating all the glitched out terain

This is fantastic. Very unfortunate the boss cant be spawned (yet) to be able to end the game even if it does take longer, it would be great for the pacifist/play around tas. I believe I can make the pacifist tas without damaging an enemy as I did is stage 7 with the purple pillars. I also feel there is not enough goofing around/dancing with the music witch would change the rng spawns... so it all needs to be redone. Koh1fds: How exactly is this set up? Have you timed to see if it is faster than the current ceiling glitch route? Dunnius: yes it has been a long long time... but I am getting that itch again

Would it be possible to conserve shine at 27:53 of the youtube video to the next room, then at 27:58 you could shine spark right then shine spark up the right wall rather than space jump to the door?

I feel bad, I some how skipped over that line. I just finished watching, and ya, I can see why you chose to not use it. I did not recall enemies having an invulnerability period between attacks. So ya, all good on that front... Back to where I belong lurking

Fly into a ki blast and become grounded while still having the "flight" status allowing you to attack enemies/bosses with no concern of death as you can not be harmed? I thought this was common knowledge for this game... Could rework nearly every fight into a boring one sided fight but it would make things significantly faster, unless you looked into it already and were able to do every fight at the same speed with out it and chose to forgo it for entertainment. I only mention this as nothing was said about it in the submission comments

General question about this game and categories: Why are 2 categories being completely ignored? Low% (collecting nothing) and 100% (collecting everything)? I get that the niche is smaller but it just seems to me that it is just flat out ignored in conversation. Was it decided long ago that neither was worth doing?

Some of that made no sense, like how you just magically have ice beam and teleport ot of the watter. Another 15 min and the game would have been finished at the rate of broken stuff happening

Can you elaborate a bit on sound causing lag please. In my experience in playing the game I have heard many audio errors and I always find it amusing especially in Super C. Though the sounds usually occur/involve something (any 1 hp enemy or weapon pod) is dying. I get this mostly in waterfall in Contra and stage 2 in Super C but I have had them happen in all stages.

Just here to say your work is not going unnoticed. Me, DK, Mayor K, zallard1 and a few others are keeping up with your updates. I really hope you can make this happen. On a side note, a long while back Andrewg mentioned to me something very similar to this when he was playing Super C. In stage 3 with the mec spider mini boss, after he killed it the stage end music started and he lost control and the stage ended. He said he vaguely remembers it and does not have a recording of any kind. I wrote it off because of lack of detail and nothing to go on other than vague memories. I would assume the games are coded in a similar way so this may be possible on both games if this does get cracked. I dont mean to get you side tracked with this but perhaps the situations are linked some how. Maybe look at the Ram/code of Super C and maybe it could help here?
