I think that 10 yes-votes should be more than enough to draw the judges attention and have it concidered ASAP for publication.

I made another test. Beat the game in exactly two hours. But thats because I was writing stuff down all the time as well. So it should be fairly easy to do it sub-two hours. One annoying part in the game could be the sword fights. They are rather boring if it goes bad. :( There is a command to skip it. But I think it's cheating.

Well.. This is not in any way a record. I haven't played it since I switched to win2k I think, which is WAY back in time now. :D From the date I installed it, it took 9 days to complete. But of course it was not active playing time. Two major factors included: 1. I work ALOT now days. So more or less I only logon my computer to check emails and recent posts on a couple of forums before going to bed and away to work again. 2. As I had not played the game in a long time I had forgotten most of it, which is of course, part of the fun. 3. My computer crashed one or two days after installing. So I was without a working computer for about 7 days or so. I know that I'm able to beat this game in a couple of hours. Or even less. I don't even know what would be a good time to beat this game in. I will start to work on a minimalist to-do guide for this game soon.

Yeah. That would be cool indeed! I'm currently planning to do a regular speed run for Monkey Island 3, the curse of.... All I will need is practice and a screen capture utility.

Strange game. Ugly color palette. But interesting run.

Ok. So no good idea I guess. Perhaps easier to implant the recording/re-recording in ScummVM and DosBOX then?

Would it be possible to add something like savestates and recording+re-recording in wine perhaps? If so then we could be making TAS:es for many games I suppose? I know that wine is not an emulator, but maby it could be possible?

I remember this was pretty useful in norfair somewhere. Where you are supposed to shoot that monster into the lava. But nowdays it's way more easy to just burst at him with missiles. I'm talking about first time I ever played the game. :)

You are always welcome to post your links and stuff as long as there is nothing illegal I suppose. So yeah. Nesticle won't be good enough to make a TAS with. But to show things I suppose it's Ok as long as it doesn't desync right? In clear words. Upload your zip somewhere and post the URL here. You may also mail me the package and I can host it if you wish.

I can only think of one movie teaser that was better than the actual movi it self! :D It's called "Masjävlar". A swedish movie. Crappy if you ask me. But maby I just don't understand the entire movie? Ah well. I bet that Saturns movie will be great! So I will just lean back and wait. :)

Haha! The collision engine in the Genesis version works great if you ask me. Allthough barells and bosses have a strange collision factor or something. They can be overflown if you pull to many shots at once at them.

Hehe.. Perhaps the enemy had an illness or something? =) Can the boss kill his own men in the SNES version?

I think you missed some shots right? Doesn't look cool. The run in general seems like much fun though, allthough I suspect it can be very repeditive. Also.. Why aren't you playing shred or something? I recon he has mines or something like that instead of oil. You do get more money from killing people right?

I will watch this when I get home probably. While you are waiting for my input you could check out my version for Sega Mega Drive! :D It's in the submission thread. Edit: Here's the link: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2292 Edit 2: Perhaps you can ask Phil or Genisto to see their old attempt at this game? I recall they were making a 2p run of the Snes version.
