Remember Mickey's No A TAS? I have been given reason to believe, based on some of the B-mashing moves he makes on slopes (particularly CCM), that the same might be possible while clipping the magic staircase. I also have confidence that it is possible to cross the rafters with dive rolls as well, and if not I am going to bet you can at least get on the last one and cross from there. That, of course, would open up a new set of levels provided that a dive roll is ample enough to get in the pipe.
