I'm looking for emulator movie files that aren't based on tool assist, or even speed runs. Something like a simple longplay but using button press emu movies instead of regular videos that take up a lot of space. Do yo know of any place that has something similar?

The movie desyncs for me. Every time i try to watch it it shows the long intro, unlike the youtube video where it skips it. I use the exact same plugins and the same Japanese rom ofc (it has the same code). Any ideas?

I don't understand what i'm doing wrong... I used 3 different versions of the emulator (including 003). I used the dat from the first post. I also tested 2 different versions of the rom, one newer (Mame 1.40 set) and one older (Mame 0.36 set). Nothing works. It always gets stuck at the press start screen.... What did you guys do to make it work?

Well, i just checked it (to be 100% sure) and in the real hardware, Banjo Kazooie runs smoother than it does in Mupen64 at 60 VI/s. I even used the real PAL version and its smoother than the NTSC in Mupen (i'm talking about this particular version the site has, don't know about others). Project 46 runs the game at a proper speed, like the real hardware, but NOT 60 fps. And Zelda is slower than Banjo in both Project 64 or the real hardware.

Amazing game, i would love to see a TAS of it. Although, it does have some severe collision detection problems on the Emulators i use.

I want to watch this movie but theres one problem. The frame rate is lower than normal. Even though it runs at 100% speed on my machine, it still has a low (but steady) frame rate. I don't have this problem with other emulators. I also tried a different GPU plugin and the same thing happens. Also, it seems i'm not the only one, i can see the low fps on the videos too. Is this a problem with the particular Emulator?

Another thing i noticed is that the "read only" mode has to be checked, or else it messes the movie file, ending it exactly at the point i'm saving. Thanks people for the responses :)

Hello people, another new guy here. I started watching these movies, not long ago, and i'm hooked. So now i have downloaded every emulator and most of the movie files the site offers ;) Now to the (noobish) questions. I was wondering if these emulators have a way (seek option, fast forward etc) to skip parts of the game in order to watch later parts. I was watching SM64 the other day (120 stars run) but i had to stop it after the 40th star or something. How can i continue from there? I prefer watching the movies in emulators rather than Youtube, Avi, etc. Also about the TAS plugin. When i'm using it a window appears at the top left of my screen that i can't disable. Its also always "on top" blocking my view when i watch N64 games in window mode. Is there any way to disable or hide this? Thanks in advance.
