Huh... maybe vimeo would be a good secondary option? I would really like to watch this movie...

This is exciting, when can we expect to spend 8 hours watching this? :)

Thanks!

For those of you who can't be bothered to watch this on an emulator, I'll be encoding this in HD on Monday. Very impressive run, by the way.
Did you ever get it encoded? I can't get this to sync up properly on my emulator.

I agree with the above, definitely submit it, but maybe as just a supplement to the actual movie. How long does it usually take after a submission to show up? I've been looking forward to this run for years now.

Looking good, and I see you changed your Kraken strategy from Desouling him to just beating him to death with Peter.

I got it to work, I don't know what I did, but I swapped some directories around, got some different versions of the ROM, and now I've watched it, and am patiently awaiting more.

Hrm... that's no good - this rom has always worked fine in the past w/ DK's run.... I'll try some other things.

If anyone else has tried watching this yet, is anyone else having problems with it desyncing around the 5400 mark? I can't make it past the scene where Sarah and Chester join the force before everything just goes crazy

Yeah, that sucks. I wish I had the time to try it out myself. Hopefully someone will come pick up DarkKobold's already-amazing work.

Ah yeah, I was wondering if that would end up being the case. Still a good looking run so far.

Ah, cool deal. Was just hoping the game hadn't fallen through the cracks! I can be patient (I suppose :) )

I may look at this as a test-run, as there are errors throughout the run.
Heh, I just kind of assumed that's what you were doing anyway. When you did SF1, didn't you almost immediately come out and redo it much better, after learning how everything worked properly?

Is there a way using Gens 11a to skip to a specific frame ? I have the "Seek to Frame" option, but it still takes forever to get to the new parts that way, and I imagine once you're about 700k+ frames into the game, it's just going to be infeasible at that point. Any options on that that anyone knows of?

Looking forward to them! I'm curious, why are you keeping Chester and Sarah alive since you aren't using them? Is it because their movement sucks so bad that you can't get them close enough to the battle to get them killed, or do you have plans for them? Can't wait to see Taros.

I have GENS, but don't now how to run a movie. Can anyone explain, or do I need a different emulator? Thanks

I was planning on getting back to this run soon. Hoping to have this and SFCD done this year. Both games work the same, and have the same RNG address... again.
Awesome! I really hope you do, this is one of my all-time favorite games and I would love to see it abused the way you did SFI
