I believe the difference in the G-Soldiers' health comes from the way the game determines enemy level. Every enemy (except some bosses) will be randomly 20% above or 20% below the party's average (that's not a range, only those two points), so if your level never changes there, the G-Soldiers will always have 87 or 105 HP, depending on if it's the higher or lower roll. Maybe it's manipulatable to have them all be at 87 HP somehow but I have no idea how manipulation works for this so I dunno.

I think you have to walk in and out of the cave to get Saturn Valley on the Teleport list, but I'm not totally sure on that.

All I could think watching was "I wish this had subtitles" when stuff I didn't understand is going on. Like, the Might & Magic run, for instance, has subtitles to explain what the item transforming glitch is doing. I don't mean anything major, maybe just a little "glitching Shadow Medallion" or whatever the heck is going on.

The main difference is that Emerald has two more dungeons (beneath Mt. Chimney and Sky Pillar) during the main game. Not to mention a long, boring Surf out to Sky Pillar. There's a few extra cutscenes and more dialog in Sootopolis as well. So pretty much everything that's a change is a long boring event.

I've watched so many runs of games I struggled through in my past, and this is no exception. This is however the first time I got mad at how the challenges of the game were obliterated. Greenwood's Village Silver Coin Challenge took me forever to do, and then I watched this and wanted to cry. (That was all a compliment.)

Well, Kain's ability to critical on the moon may be caused by his leaving the party sometime after the solo Edge fight, and then rejoins after the Giant of Bab-il, so perhaps he regains his critical ability due to leaving and rejoining.

Mm, going through the notes on the run, there's the section about gender, IVs, and shininess. The paragraph there is true for Gold and Silver, but in Sapphire (and beyond) gender and shininess are determined independent of IVs, they're no longer related. (I know that really has nothing to do with the run, just a little oversight in the notes.) That said though, it was a great run, and I was like "grrrr" more than once watching the run one-shot Pokemon who would smash my whole team.

Right, haha. I'd forgotten that in speed golf, the in-game clock would be more important than the real time clock. (That post kinda sounded sarcastic, but I meant it seriously. Although I hope I didn't open a can of worms by comparing clocks.)

Well, when the ball hits the fairway and is no longer bouncing but only rolling, you can hold down Z (I believe it's Z) and the game will "fast-forward" to where the ball will eventually stop.
