Very interested in seeing this one. I'll vote after watching. About as interesting to watch as Dragon Warrior games get. Loaded with interesting shortcuts and abuse. Leveling up is boring, but necessary. Overall, it should be good enough to publish

On the plus side, this would probably be a rather short run, and the graphics are quite good. I just have doubts whether there is enough action in this game to make it interesting to watch given , like theenglishman said, that its on rails. I used to play this game quite a bit when it came out, and it seems like one of those games that's more fun to play than to watch. I wouldn't mind to see where this run goes and I'm interested to see how high some of the scores can get.

Having owned this game for the N64 and finally seeing the AVI (and w/ sound) I'm very glad you decided to tun off Gex's voice. Hearing him repeat the same quips 20 times would have driven me up the wall. I never played the PSX version, so I didn't know there were originally FMV cutscenes in the game. I guess that's why the N64 version seems completely devoid of cutscenes (even for the ending) Hope you can encode a better AVI, though. The white boxes in Rezopolis were particularly annoying

One more time, to make it clear. I am not offended by the name. But I refuse to publish something as "by God's Hand" (with or without 's).
how about "by Mr. God Hand"?

I'm not sure if this would be a good game to TAS. While you could go for a highest score goal, I'm not sure if this would be very interesting to watch, since most of it will just consist of frame-perfect shutterclicking with a repellant-pokeball being thown every now and then. I could be wrong though.

So, enough of off-topic and more about this submission, mayhaps?
Anywho, I agree with upthorn in that the run is too unoptimized. With some polish, however, it seems like a good enough game.

I guess i'm one of the few who liked the FX chip graphics (in a sort of experimental way). Watching this makes it clear that SF64, a game I played to death, was sortof a hi-res version of this games with the same skeletal gameplay. About the run, I found nothing wrong with it aside from some briefly repetitive bits, but a lot of the dodging while boosting gave it a real speed thrill for me

EDIT: Does this game have the highest number of non yes votes for a published run.
I think that prize goes to B.O.B.

Hey, no problem, it was just a minor nit pick anyways. I look forward to your progress

I noticed that one of the furry tribals was killed in Sekhmet. That seemed to be the only "flaw" I could see. Other than that, great job. I remember having nightmares doing a couple of the later first-person Floyd flying missions

I say go for the Invincibility Glitch. I'd like to see that myself. :3
It's probably like the Mega Man 3 Debug "glitch". IE: A cheat code that has been mistaken for a programming error. And cheats aren't allowed.
You're right, its a cheat. Its listed as such in the (likely) rare Official Player's Guide that came out shortly after the game's release

Man, this game was HARD. It was one of the few SNES games I could never beat. I've beaten all of the mini-levels except "baby bart" and "dinosaur bart". The pipe level was real easy once you know which pipe to go down, and the Mad Max level, I only beat once through dumb luck. the dinosaur level, I never could make it past the absolute perfection needed to make it through the Ice Age portion. I think there is enough variety and relative shortness in this game to make it entertaining enough for publication granted you do a good enough job (which I don't think will be much of a problem) /Edit: After watching it, and seeing the end to the baby bart portion for the first time, I agree that the last segment is unoptimized. Otherwise, a very solid run. I especially liked how you skipped through that hoop portion in the circus. I honestly think you should alternate between the platforming and non-platforming levels, but that's just me. Can't wait to see the end of Dino Bart

Yes, I think this one should obsolete the old one. This one is more entertaining and seems to be more optimized I'm not sure why people have trouble finding this rom. Most sites that offer gba roms will have it.

MK games definitely seem to deliver in entertainment these days, no? A great variety of moves and standing around is kept to a minimum. Yes vote

It definitely seems the recoil of the laser shots offer some sort of boost and it was incredibly entertaining to watch Daffy tear through the levels in an with his jetpack and raygun. I couldn't find any flaws outside landing on those lasers, but the publisher has already explained why in his/her post, so I'm going top vote yes. It also makes me wonder how many other Looney Tunes based SNES games are worth doing...

Easy Yes vote. A very nice compliment to your Sonic Run. Very fun to watch, and many glitches and techniques are used flawlessly to take the shortest route. This Hack is very well designed, too

Although the less interesting bunuses take up a large portion of the run, it shows a much different route and different strategies from previous runs, which sort of make up for it. Most of my entertainment came from portions including Super and Hyper Knuckles tearing through the levels at breakneck speed. The large amount of glitches also kept it interesting. Yes vote

A decent run, and the game seems suitable enough, but there seems to be a lack of polisj in some areas. Meh

repetitive, yet fun for a while. Gets a bit boring near the end, but makes up for it in the training course. Yes vote

I think using rentals would be the way to go. That way, you can test and see which rental would get through the game the fastest. I don't think it would look sloppy, since it would be likely that luck manipulation and critical hits would work in the TAS's favor

Sorry to hear you're having misgivings about Kutan. I personally think it was the most entertaining part of the run. I was in hysterics. I was disappointed she turned back to normal since the opera scene though. I really enjoyed the run as a whole btw
Cid and Shadow are supposed to die because they've both killed innocent people. But, their deaths have meanings. If you save their lives it's an injustice and it ruins the story
That's a matter of opinion

A somewhat weak yes. Watching Wario sleep through that first level was kind of boring, but its interesting that he has to be thrown out of the house in order to get through the shortest branch. The rest of the level was well optimized and thankfully short. It was pretty good, even though the game is a bit slow

A very strange game, but I really liked those glitches, which definitely improved the run. Yes Vote
