this is a pretty cool hack, but i would rather see a hack of ocarina of time because it was a better game. why hasn't any one made an ocarina of time hack? is it because it's so hard to make a hack of a 3D game?
He's basically saying that six of those items shouldn't count for percentage since they're just part of a fetch quest. There's absolutely no point in getting the cucco egg unless you plan on getting the biggoron sword, so the only percentage that counts here is whether or not you get the sword. 1%. I'm sure if someone made a low% run of sufficient quality, it'd get accepted.
My point of view is that although the previous item might not appear in the item screen, fact is that is was collected at one point. Fairy ocarina counts as an item, even if in the item screen it is later replaced by the Ocarina of time. (In my opinion...)
Edit 2: Sword can not be skipped since Mido blocks me from going to the Deku tree, and I need the spiritual stone to trigger the OoT-in-the-moat cutscene. If anyone has any idea as to how the sword skip could be achieved, feel free. In the meantime I'll continue the test run with the sword and without deku sticks.
