It's a shame. This is one of the TASes I was looking most forward to.

Well, hopefully in a few months, I'll have a processor better able to play games on this emulator. I'll be getting the Phenom II X4 3.4ghz Quad Core if my luck holds out. It just seems my 2.7 ghz Dual Core doesn't have the power to run the games faster than half speed.

I'm mostly just wondering if a new Dolphin version has been released as of yet.

Kinda makes me wonder why Spezzafer didn't keep up with the TAS. He was about half done with the game at that point.

Eh, might be fun to see a TAS for this game.

I'd watch a 101% Adventure tas for this.

Well, I watched the TAS for this game, and I was about as entertained as I was with the first one. All in all, enjoyable.

According to James Rofle, aka Angry Video Game Nerd, there's a LOT that sucks about this game. Not to mention the battles against other monsters have a time limit.

Well, I watched the TAS for this game the other night, while it was enjoyable, it does have it's downside. The Crash Games are always more enjoyable to watch when run at 100% completion. I have yet to watch the TAS for the second game, but I should get to it soon. :3

Any% and 100%TASes for Luigi's mansion would be fun to watch. The 100% run on SDA is one of my favorites.

I would personally love to see both a any% and a 100% TAS for this game. Hopefully we will have both at some point.

What, still?? Good grief. Guess there are still some bugs that need to be worked out, huh?

I can't believe this topic hasn't been touched in three years, sorry to necrobump, but since N64 TASing is more stable now than it was three years ago, might be time for another look, right?

I beat the entire game all exits without TASing it. I got another 3 friends interested in it who also did the same (one of those friends however abused save states for practically every jump throughout the game - but he sucks at Super Mario World too). I must say that some of the later levels were rather grueling though.
Well, at least it's possible. Maybe I'll give this hack a look sooner or later.

Hm, interesting Any% WIP. Should make for a fairly entertaining TAS.

More like he's smoking them THEN eating them. O_o But it looks like progress is starting to pick up from my view. No doubt that riding on the rabbit will be the highlight of the entire run. :) Plus, your route on Hard Coaster was the EXACT route I was thinking of. :P Progress: Real slow. Just redid the entire Sky Room, now I gotta think of a route for the next levels. :/
Wish I could help, but I haven't played this game in such a long time I don't know where anything is or how it should be gotten. No way I'd be any help on a 100% route, much less an Any% route.

I should have the rest of world 3 up tonight or tomorrow for sure. I've just been lazy, it's finished.
Ah, alright. Should be a good watch. At least it's not just one world at a time. :3

I guess the sound plugins from ePSXe aren't compatible with PCSX, huh? Cause I know ePSXe emulated the Spyro games rather well.

I wouldn't mind seeing TASes of these two games once the Dolphin Emulator is stable enough. Who knows when that's gonna be, though.

I watched the WIP, but the sound is all messed up. Hopefully the sound in the finished product will be better. The WIP looks good, by the way.

This is my only real complaint. The stuff you guys have been working on is phenomenal, and having to watch the floor for large chunks of time just ruins the experience.
I have to agree. It really is boring watching nothing but the floor for large periods of time. Makes me glad there aren't more games that do that.

Yes, yes. I have played the first three by emulator, and unless you know exactly where you're going, you're gonna get stuck a lot.

True. If the runner has no real experience with the game, then an any% would probably be best way to go first time around.
